Introduction
Both humanities are issues that are culture based and aesthetics as well. The fundamental role of humanities is to look at a society with the aim of fostering, highlighting and preserving. It is also ensuring that all that is best and beautiful is evoked. The role of humanities is to provide that all people are sophisticated articulated and lastly intellectually cosmopolitan. No wonder conservatives do hate the humanities and even the people who support it. Philosophy on the other hand, predominantly deals with tolerances and many others that are not within it. Therefore it can be defined as the cognition of human to ask and answer the question about the universe around us, both concerning and non- concerning humans. As a result, this definition makes philosophy be pertinent to all studies around it. Therefore, it is the philosophy of religion of mind, and philosophy of science as well.
Humanities are an academic discipline where aspects of human society and culture are being studied. Therefore .humanities also uses methods that are primarily critical, speculative and compost of historical element .humanities also involve the study of modern and ancient languages, philosophy, literature, human geography, politics law, and religion. In secondary schools, it is being offered as literature, art, and global studies
Anthropology
Anthropology is the study of humans or science of totality of existence of human. It is meant to integrate different aspects of social sciences human biology and humanities. In ancient time disciplines of academic institutionally have been divided into three broad domains. Whereby, the natural sciences seek to derive the general laws under verifiable experiments. This would mean that, the humanities aim to study local traditions through literature, arts, and music whereby emphasis on understanding particular individual's eras or events. In the United States of America, they have divided anthropology into different sub-fields that is archaeology biological or physical anthropology, anthropological linguistics and lastly cultural anthropology. This area is predominantly offered at the most undergraduate students. Notably, sociocultural anthropology is the most scientific study of humanities. Therefore, the main focus of anthropology is the provision of the most holistic account of humans and the nature of humanity as well. Consequently, this would mean that they only specialize in linguistics, cultural and historical aspects of whichever problem.
In western societies, anthrophony had risen as sciences being complex and industrial in nature. Consequently, within the anthropology trend and methodological drive, people have been studied in communities with a more social and straightforward organization.
Archaeology
It is the study of human activity, recovery and research of human culture not excluded. Its record consists of artifacts, biofacts, and cultural aspects among others. It is considered to be a branch of humanities and social science. Its main aim is to provide arrange of understanding culture history to reconstruct past lifeways to cope up with changes in human societies with time notably, in the United States of America, archaeology is considered as a branch of anthropology while in Europe it is viewed as a discipline in its own right.
Moving further, concerning Western academic tradition can be described as the studies of cultures of classical antiquity, for instance, Ancient Greek and Latin America., Roman and Ancient Greeks cultures' classical studies being the cornerstone of humanities, its popularity drastically dropped during the 20th century.
History
It involves all the information collected about the past. It consists of the study and interpretation of human records, societies, and institutions as well.
Linguistics and languages
This is the scientific study of languages also known as linguistics majorly considered asocial science. This study is deemed to be central to the humanities. The philosophy of twentieth-century and first century is entirely devoted to the analysis of language. Concerning the literary theory, it has explored the rhetorical, associative and ordering features of the word. And therefore, across time, historical linguistics has been studied the development of Languages' literature has also covered uses of language in variety including prose forms, i.e., drama and poetry, actually this is the heart of modern humanities curriculum. In most colleges today, the study of a foreign language also form the basis of literature in that language.
Law and Politics
This is a rule that is enforceable through institutions. Its study crosses the boundary between humanities and social sciences based on research done by different people, the objectives and effects. About international relations contexts law is not always enforceable. No wonder it has been defined as "system of rules" to mediate interest of the people or "command of the sovereign backed by the threat of a sanction." There is an incorporation of legal policy, practical manifestation of thinking from almost from every social science and disciplines within humanities. It is also important to note that, laws are politics and policies are also being created by statute. Law has also been proved to be philosophy since ethical persuasions and good shape their ideas. Additionally, the law also does tell a lot of historical stories, since statutes, case law, and codification do build with time. Along similar lines, the law is also considered to be economical since any rule regarding the contract, tort, labor law, and property law company law among others may have some long-lasting effects on organizational productivity and wealth distribution as well.Literature
This is a term that does not have a definition that is universally accepted; it involves written work, writing that possesses literary merit and language that foregrounds literariness, which is lacking in the ordinary language. Literature can be clarified to be either fiction or non-fiction, whether pros or poetry. Furthermore, it can be distinguished according to primary forms, i.e., short story, drama, and novel. In a manner of a historical period, its work has been classified.
Philosophy
This is the study of problems about matters of existence, justification, justice, knowledge, justice, right and wrong, validity and language. The critical nature and the systematic approach of philosophy make it distinguishable from other ways of addressing issues. According to Ancient Greek philosophy has been divided into three sciences, ethics physics and logic. Today, philosophy has covered the following areas, i.e., metaphysics, logic, ethics, epistemology as well. In the past decades, it has been seen to overlap with other disciplines. For instance, philosophy has been brought into contact with linguistics. By the early twentieth century. In English speaking universities, they have moved away from Universities and become closer to formal sciences becoming more analytic. Notably, analytic philosophy has been marked by an emphasis on the use of formal methods of reasoning and logic.
Religion
In both east and west new philosophies and religions had risen notably in the 6th century. In the past decades, a variety of beliefs had developed all over the world, whereby Buddhism, Hinduism, and some other earliest major faiths. Moving to the east, Chinese thinking was to be dominated by their school of thought until the modern day. They include; Taoism, legalism, and Confucianism, he Confucians tradition, was meant to attain predominance, not to the force of law but to the power of political morality. In the Greek philosophical tradition was mainly presented with the work of Aristotle and Plato. This later diffused in Europe, Middle East as well, during the conquest of Alexander Macedon
Education and Employment
In the past decades, the public perception has been that humanity education does not render adequate graduates from the job. The common belief here is that, the graduates involved in those programs are faced with underemployment and low-income humanities as well.
Conclusion
Science and technology seem to be having a profound impact on all activities that involve human, The inventions around science and technology, for instance, the theory of the origin of the universe and gene discovery have rendered many hints with human existence, from both civilized and cultural aspects' therefore, science and technology have influenced human understanding of the world, outlook nature and the view of the society. Technological advancement has even led economic growth hence raises peoples living standards and cultural development. This would mean that, in the community where we live today, the study of humanities in the various institutions around is vital since it contributes to economic growth of the society thus high living standards
