As a leader in my area of accountability, it is imperative to recognize and treat employees as the most valuable assets of the company. For the employee training and development, one of the most effective employee onboarding techniques involves the integration of elements of gamification into training, which will introduce the aspect of fun into training. Another effective technique involves encouraging high feedback environment during training to make feedback an essential step in each training. The third innovation technique would be to involve the success of clients in training for a first-hand insight of the employees.

Gamification technique is intended to introduce fun in learning. It helps employees choose how they learn, which should help them know why they are learning. This way, the training programs would induce positivity towards the training, hence increasing chances that the employees will be willing to sign up for the training to improve innovation.
By encouraging high feedback environment, employees attending the training will be exposed to quality understanding of why they are attending the sessions-learning more about their roles within the company. The feedbacks, intended to improve their output would encourage others to embrace the sessions as it will be bringing out the best in them.
Impact on Retention
The elements of gamification will introduce aspects of fun and instructional design into creating a training platform that will maximize employees' attention and motivation towards completing their tasks. In the same respect, maximized employee attention would mean maximized employee retention during training sessions.
Regarding the creation of high feedback environment during training, employees will be guaranteed constructive feedback after every training sessions; highlighting their strengths, weaknesses, improvements and recommendations alike. Such feedback is essential for each employee to realize their purposes at the company, hence elevating the chances of quality retention.
Regarding the involvement of client success to employee training, the technique is intended to enlighten employees on how their innovations are impacting their customers at all times. This approach is anticipated to boost the morale of employees during training to exploit a plausible connection between their confidence and employee satisfaction, with an aim to improve retention.
Recommendation
Regarding the three chosen techniques, the essential intention will be to appeal to employees' urge of learning, so that they can improve their performance and consequently improve customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is one of the essential elements for the organization, given the need for optimum profitability. With the three techniques implemented side by side, the company can be sure to reach customer satisfaction, though not at the expense of employee satisfaction. Since innovation training will be involving each department within the company, every department head will be obliged to sign up their employees to the training program.
