Introduction
Evidence-based practice is a careful, problem-solving strategy to clinical practices, which included the best evidence from excellently planned studies, patient preferences and a clinician's capability in deriving decisions regarding patient care (Walshe & Rundall, 2001). Hence, evidence-based practices is used on day-today in my health care setting to offer solution to questions, solutions, patient needs that need effective clinical decision making for suitable interventions. To address difficult situations that nurses have been previously applying knowledge and skills obtained from various mechanisms comprising ritual and tradition, healthcare guideline and personal choice.
However, presently, evidence- based practice is been utilized to delivering high-quality patient care since nurses evidence- based practices enables nurses to make a vigorous and a complete health care decisions centered on the outcome from a high-quality research records, clinical expertise, and, patient views. Kazdin, (2008) asserts that framework of implementing evidence based practice in a health care facility indicate that there is a continuous and a systematic procedure, which moves in cyclical patients to facilitate healthcare givers make c these complex decisions. These procedures in my work place started with a push for change in the areas such as patient outcome, a recent research report, and, clinic audit. What followed next comprised of carrying out a literature review and analyzing of theacknowledged topic, implementing and evaluating trial changes within practice, and suggesting approvals for clinical practice plans. This process has helped nurses in my workplace to incorporate a section of the health care team and push evidenced based transformation and contribution to the offering of high-quality care (Melnyk, & Fineout-Overholt, 2011).
Despite successful implantation of evidence-based in my work setting, the facilities face a barrier such have the inability to explore the enablers to execute changes completely. These involve any activity that might aid or motivate take-up of a new evidence-based practice entailing alignment with accreditation guidelines, positive workforce outlooks.
Conclusion
In conclusion, evidence-based in my workplace has been implemented to enhance the quality of service and care being offered to the patient by enabling nurses to make complex care decisions that promise to improve patients' outcome. Above all, in my workplace evidenced-based practice stands a high chance of moving care to a high-level of probability for generating the panned health outcome.
