E-marketing has improved the world of marketing since the years 1900 and its change has helped a lot of people positively, for example,, for example, one who needs to purchase some items overseas, overseas the network makes it easier to do the transactions and delivery of the products or services. Many companies have recently ventured into worldwide businesses through e-marketing and recruiting affiliate customers to run and engage more of the clients in businesses thus creating job opportunities. E-marketing reduces the costs of operation in the business and provides customers with market values and more information when using their phones and computers at any time and anywhere-marketing has techniques such as pull marketing whereby customers can look for specific information about certain products and services that have been advertised online through web links.

E-marketing causes competition in prices of goods and services than the traditional marketing because, in e-marketing, there are no costs of maintaining places where to store products .there are many ways that e-marketers use internet to market their products for example ;blogging, email promotions, video marketing, and article marketing

Failures and benefits in e-marketing shows that marketing products and services online leads to distribution, shipping, storing and checking costs that are at a higher value of the products .e-marketers also should be aware of some cultural pitfalls when designing the web sites for other markets. e-marketers must also operate in the business in with consideration to the laws of protecting the customer's privacy

E-marketing has its advantages and disadvantages too, examples of the advantages are:

It is permission based whereby one's marketing list is made of customers or clients who are ready to receive emails from the e-marketer. Clients who are seriously interested in the products and services are easier and most likely to deal with the e-marketer.

It is shareable thus easier for different people to send or forward messages through email content, thus boosting the reputation of an e-marketer by viral marketing.

Flexibility in the market: one can send texts, graphics and attach files, whichever suits the message best. The choice of design options gives one scope to tell about your business branding.

Scalable: email marketing can be used to reach many people that are being targeted or less targeted lists too

Increased sales and conversions: if you have new promotions, email marketing is very effective at every part of the buying and selling of the products in process, clients can click on your site links and take the action to call to the action.

Personalization: with email marketing you can personalize messages. One can also segment the marketing list; so that the clients receive information from the e-marketer that they are interested in. this will help promote their relationship with the e-marketer.

Another advantage of e-marketing is that it is measurable so one can calculate the successfulness of a campaign by analyzing using the web analytic soft wares so one can easily differentiate copies and designs to find the effective one thus allows one to optimize future campaigns.

In e-marketing, you can benchmark to compare results with others in the platform or industry because there are available free e-marketing benchmarking reports through online searching the data can help one to optimize and place to prioritize the improvement opportunities.

E-marketing is safer and less intrusive because unlike the other marketing, clients can read the messages from the e-marketer at any time that it suits best as they like

E-marketing is much cheaper than any other form of marketing because there is no cost of advertising and printing or webspace costs.

E-marketing is better and it is advantageous because it is environmentally friendly unlike postal mail e-marketing doesn't require printings.

E-marketing is time saving whereby automatic triggering of emails are sent to clients depending on the performed actions in the e-marketers website like sending a welcoming mail as a user registers to the e-marketers website or give out an email offering a discount if the user leaves the purchasing cart. Once the e-marketer develops a template, he or she can reuse it for many other email campaigns thus saving a lot of time.

Real-time marketing; in email marketing, using automatic triggers you can connect with customers or clients in real time. For example, using recent purchases and various website activities by the customers you can engage the audience at the right time place and with the right offers.

Another advantage of e-marketing is that most products are found online these days and so the customers don't get a rough time searching for a product which unlike in traditional marketing might not be found easily

E-marketing also creates a sustainable relationship between customers and companies when the customers or buyer purchases a service or products that the e-marketer offers appreciated with strengthening through appropriate emails.

e-marketing has another advantage of increased authority because it does not only helps one to be found online but also it can change the way one's business ventured is perceived or taken by customers through linking with respected industries boosts the potential credit in the market.

E-marketing has some disadvantages such as:

Spam ; this happens when commercial emails disturbs customers that is if the messages are not directed to the right recipients they may end up deleting or unsubscribing from the email .the e-marketer needs to take note that the email marketing comes with privacy and also data protection rules and that it is targeted to the people who opt to receive the messages[Straus et al, 2014]. The rate of emails clicked that are untargeted is likely to be very low.

Another disadvantage of e-marketing is that poorly designed emails might not be delivered at the right time or may get delivered at all [Nadaraja et al, 2013]. Emails that use a variety of spam words at the content of the mail or messages are most likely to be removed or rather filtered out by the software that runs email and also the internet providers. Spam emails mostly annoy consumers.

E-marketing has another disadvantage in which when the design of the email has a problem, it should be designed to make sure that it crosses many email providers and devices. One may encounter a trade-off between the functioning and the design of the email and some customers prefer to receive only texts emails.

Another problem is that of the size of the files; files are required to be small enough to enable downloading to be easier and quicker, Emails which carries a lot of images and ads might take a long time to load this leads to loss of interest by the people receiving the emails.

Inadequate resources and skills in the world of e-marketing is another problem, for a successful email one must ensure to have the right design, copy and the marketing list. Inadequate resources might lead to outsourcing of these elements. Illiteracy also can be a disadvantage in e-marketing whereby least personnel knows how to read in terms of emails and translating of messages in emails, it is important not to overuse email marketing because frequent emails annoy the audience.

Another disadvantage of e-marketing is that it is limited by the access of internet services by the consumers [Fariborzi et al, 2012]. Although the internet services in the modern world have increased its popularity, many consumers are still unable to use or access the internet services.

The costs of maintenance due to constantly changing environments is also another disadvantage,

Delivery issues; people often change their email addresses and the filters are increasingly selective on the emails that are let through to the inbox thus creates issues. Spammers are requested to update their emails to receive important emails.

Resource intensive that is there are some skills needed to make some time into it to learn and also time taken to create a design and also planning the email and marketing strategy with your email, these all needs resources and sometimes are unavailable thus causing a problem in the world of e-marketing.

Conclusion

In conclusion the disadvantage of e-marketing is the lack of trust between the clients and marketers due to many cases of scams across the internet and also because the clients do not get to see the marketer or the producer of the service perhaps separated with the continents and language issues, therefore, becomes a problem and might take a long time to solve the issue. Even with these challenges, internet marketing remains the chief option.
