My past experiences illuminate my determination and commitment to create an equal environment that embraces diversity and inclusivity. During my undergraduate studies, I was actively involved in creating a mentorship program that was intended to bring all the students from underrepresented minorities together in achieving their academic goals. Furthermore, as a graduate student, I got immersed in a certain volunteer group that sought to bring together diverse students and engage them in promoting an inclusive environment not only to their peers but also to the society in general. Additionally, I encountered two students that mirrored the existence of diversity in the institution and who narrated to me their harsh treatment because of their socio-economic and racial status. In what illustrates my deep concern about diversity and inclusivity, I implored the institution's management through existing communication channels to ensure that they create an initiative that will discourage alienation of the underprivileged and underrepresented groups.

Undeniably, the health profession is instrumental in promoting healthy living among the people, and their services should always be applied equally to the people irrespective of their racial and socio-economic backgrounds. In light of this, I would ensure that I create necessary connections and promote cultural diversity among the learners to guarantee an equal and inclusive scholarly environment. Further, I will foster effective communication and constant engagement of students from underrepresented groups, and incorporate them in developing different programs to reinforce existing inclusivity. My experience during my doctoral research strengthened my resolve to promote diversity and inclusivity at all times during a career. I was given the necessary support by the community where my research was concentrated regardless of my racial background, and this enhanced my passion for replicating the values throughout my career. I harbor plans of enhancing cooperation between the learners and institution's management, and more importantly expand programs that seek the involvement of all in different activities within the institution.

Undoubtedly, the provision of an equal learning environment and the creation of an atmosphere of inclusion would motivate the students in realizing their academic goals. Better still, I will encourage students from diverse cultural settings to embrace initiatives and programs that will foster the much-needed diversity and inclusivity within the institution. More significantly, I believe that I can promote the personal growth of health professionals and assist them in achieving their academic goals by guaranteeing them an equal, diverse, and inclusive environment.
