Introduction
According to a survey by Water Stand Co., Ltd., only about half of G7 business people were interested in environmental issues. Humanity has created various ecological problems for production activities. Many people do not know what kind of damage is caused by environmental issues. Many individuals take time to save the earth from ecological issues that can occur due to ignorance or physical occurrences. Two adverse effects of environmental problems are economic loss and physical damage.
One negative effect of environmental issues is an economic loss. When the oceans acidify, the ocean's ecosystem changes and people who rely on it may lose their income and become unable to live. According to Susannah Cullinane, in "CO2 Causing oceans to Acidify at Unprecedented Rate", Schmidt says oyster farms will inevitably be damaged if the ocean's acidification continues at the same rate as today. Then, oyster farmers are economically damaged
Engineering and manufacturing industries are developing in the current world, and many people want to involve themselves in science experiments. The major problem with these aspects is that its basis mostly is on trials. Individuals, scientists, and researchers are trying various experiments on earth, and this leads to an environmental issue when there is a failure. Also, they are not the only ones who suffer damage.
For example, a person who maintains a ship for harvesting oysters will have less work if the harvest is reduced. Sales also decline in restaurants that purchase oysters. In this way, people in various occupations suffer economic losses due to acidification of the ocean. The car production units, shipping industries, coal mining, and plastic firms have contributed a lot to environmental damages to the environment due to the lack of proper regulations and careless disposal of wastes to the environment.
Another adverse effect of environmental issues is physical damage. It can be easily imagined that the risk of heatstroke increases as the temperature rises due to global warming, but there are other major physical problems. According to Emily Holden in "Like a Sunburn on Your Lungs: How Does the Climate Crisis Impact Health?", an increase in temperature makes the allergic season more powerful, as plants produce pollen for a longer time and the amount increases. Pollen allergies interfere with daily life and in the worst cases, can die. With the growing population and more demand for food and shelter, many individuals have implemented innovative ideas in the environment that damages it creating an urban sprawling and other consequent activities.
Pollen allergies develop from long-term pollen uptake and accumulation, so more people will become pollen-allergic. An increase in temperature also causes damage to insect infections. For example, dengue fever seen in tropical areas has recently occurred in Japan, which is a temperate area. If the area where the temperature rises as it is increasing, dengue fever may be transmitted to the subarctic region in decades. In this way, the rise in temperature creates a disease that did not occur in the original climate.
Conclusion
In conclusion, two adverse effects of environmental issues are economic loss and physical damage. Even if the environment changes a little, various big problems occur. And that's likely to be your problem someday. So I think that environmental issues should be considered from the small things you can do, rather than thinking of others. Crucial environmental issues are undertaken by human beings where they do not value the environment they live in and the reason for the persistence of poverty in most parts of the world due to dirty air, polluted water, and causes of climate change due to their effects.
