Technology has revolutionized how modern organizations conduct their businesses and everyday operations. Entrepreneurs and technology companies, in particular, are behind significant technological breakthroughs since they provide resources and infrastructure for people to showcase their creativity and experiment with their ideas. Such advances have led to essential innovations that have improved the workplaces. Lifestyle trends combined with broad applications of technology in the work environment point to a future where employees are happier than ever. The work of entrepreneurs and the modernization of workspaces through technology, therefore, is making the workforce happy since it promotes flexibility, level of production, and the efficiency of customer services besides reducing the workload.
The inventions of high-tech companies besides the work of entrepreneurs have promoted workplace automation. The present-day organizations have seen a massive increase in industrial productivity, especially in the wake of technological breakthroughs (Attaran et al. 1). Entrepreneurs strive to tap the opportunities underlying the existence of large volumes of digitized data. This scenario explains why office work has been shifting from repetitive tasks to flexible, adaptive, and knowledge-based functions over the past decade (Attaran et al. 2). However, industrial automation is inevitable in this era where digitized data is increasing at an exponential rate. Technology companies and entrepreneurs, therefore, strive to expand the applications of technology in an attempt to automate the workplace. This trend has led to a decline in workload and thus making workers happy.
Technology companies have increased social connections in the workplace. The spirit of entrepreneurship has increased peoples' willingness to take risk besides their capacity to plan and implement business ideas. This scenario has led to the emergence of organizations that provide technological solutions to critical problems facing modern companies. In this case, entrepreneurs have established telecom companies, whose services have enhanced social connections between businesses. Chill Telecom, a product of a Canadian entrepreneur, for instance, provides cheap mobile services and thus enable companies to minimize their internet and other telecommunication costs. The organization offers a 4G network and unlimited data at as low as $35 per month (Brownell para. 2). This entrepreneurial invention has revolutionized the workplace of other organizations by providing affordable telecom services that connect organizational employees through voice, video, and messaging platforms.
Entrepreneurship encourages technology companies to come up with new products and services, whose applications improve efficiency at the workplace. Technological products of such companies enable the employees to do their work better, faster, accurately, and efficiently (Cascio & Montealegre 350). The outcome of entrepreneurship is profound changes that transform how the employees do their routine work. BrainStormers Group Ltd is an example of a company that has specialized in developing software and business application tools, whose applications increase operational effectiveness. The workers, in this scenario, are happy and comfortable since entrepreneurs and tech companies provide solutions, which improve their experiences in the workplace. Sonny, for instance, uses more than 193 technology products (Crunchbase Company para. 4). Accordingly, it suggests the role of entrepreneurship and the contributions of technology companies in revolutionizing the workplace. Entrepreneurs have focused on designing organizations that offer services and products in critical technologies. These areas, according to Cascio and Montealegre, are advanced robotics and drones, intelligent manufacturing, cloud, and mobile computing, clean-energy technologies, and big data and machine learning (350).
Conclusion
Conclusively, the contributions of tech companies and the spirits of entrepreneurship have significant roles in transforming the workplace. The inventions of technology corporations and the output of entrepreneurs have broad applications in the modern workplace. It has improved the accuracy, efficiency, and speed of executing everyday activities and thus making the workers happier than ever.
