In 2014, Stephen Hawking's- famous theoretical physicist openly tells BBC, "The development of full artificial intelligence could spell the end of the human race." (Cellan-Jones, 2014). Artificial intelligence continually grows in becoming a major controversial topic among scientists in the recent past years. Will artificial intelligence help or grow to be a threat to humanity? Basing on the rapid growth in the technology sector, I support Stephen Hawking expressions towards AI. AI irrespective of its essentiality to human, it poses a huge threat to humanity as today's world advances to be more of a technological world. As AI advances every day in a rapid rate, its gradually taking control over the human race thus growing to become a massive threat to humanity (Cellan-Jones, 2014). Apart from laziness and unemployment, high AI technology in wrong hands might be programmed to a catastrophic thing or also it may develop its mind beyond control hence doing all it has to accomplish its functionality which may be destructive to the human race (Muller, 2016). Artificial intelligence (AI) should be developed with restrictions.

In the event that there is a positive side there is always a negative side. Although AI has various advantageous related applications for example in the field of robotics, medicine, nanotechnology, gaming, and education, it has its risky side (Russell & Norvig, 2016). Some of the AI applications enjoyed recently in our homes includes smart technologies and cities that impacts to cybersecurity's issues.

At an increasingly fundamental level, the utilization of AI in daily activities may create lethargy among people. The mindfulness that the machines have knowledge will cause human to be lethargic and will to be compelled to make everything done by the machines. The human race has phenomenal capabilities to think, assess, and utilize judgment. If AI is utilized for world's interpretation, the functionalities of the human mind may go to squander (Makridakis, 2017).

Secondly, most scientific films mirror the future development of AI technology. The greater part of films related to AI depicts the disadvantageous part of the technology. For instance, on the off chance that we take film 'I ROBOT' as an illustration, it focuses mainly on how a robot goes frantic against society and turns into a threat aspect to humanity. There are numerous other films based on the script of robots going distraught against the humankind, for example, the 'Terminator.' Should the human race ignore these reflections of the future led by AI applications? Thirdly, AI relationship with nanotechnology in the military field has numerous advantageous points of interest like building practical defensive protection against any attacks to the human race. Though, it has a peril side also. With the assistance of nanotechnology and AI, humans have the capabilities of developing very destructive and powerful weapons. In 'G.I. JOE', a Hollywood film, some of the weapons made AI and nanotechnology applications is shown. On the off chance that we offer control to computerized machines, they will most likely use the intelligence to the maximum. What's more, intelligent machines will outsmart its creator thus the great probability of doomed humanity (Muller, 2016).

In the future, there might be more kinds of AI robots. In the military field, the application of AI knowledge will ascend to increasingly user-friendly and sophisticated warfare methodologies. By the innovation of AI researchers, it will be determined that human intelligence can be duplicated as it is purely mechanical. In the event that this occurs, it would break man's perspective on himself as a one of a kind being. The future AI applications that are generally artificially intelligent can turn out to be significantly more intelligent as compared to humans. Consequently, arising to machines vs human race situations as seen in science fiction films.

Besides, computerized systems have capabilities for creating exact outcomes. So, they will possibly supplant people in employments as they are more qualified than them. This could imply that the work environment will never again be a man's area. Joblessness rates could go up. Before noticing, the human race will lose its domain like the main dominant creature. Worst case scenario is complete domination over humanity. Lastly, by the rapid advancements in robotics and AI sectors, earth planet may be pushed to a critical state by making an extraordinary unsettling influence on our environment and earth in overall. In the future, our planet Earth may go from green to black because of the pollution that can occur by AI development and advancements (Yudkowsky, 2008).

Conclusion

In conclusion, artificial intelligence is neither bad nor good. AI is a field associated with different studies. Even though people are having the knowledge they are not ready to utilize it to the greatest degree, AI machines will almost certainly utilize 100% of its knowledge if given the intelligence. AI technology is a disadvantage just like an advantage as seen from the above brief description. We rely upon machines functionalities in nearly every activity today. Machines are currently a piece of our life and are utilized ordinarily. As its threat to humanity, we should find out about AI machines and ought to understand in-depth its impact if given intelligence. AI technology may not be good or bad as it depends on how humanity will use it and the level of intelligence these machines will be given.
