Some of the major areas the UN women cover includes leadership and political participation, economic empowerment, peace and security, humanitarian action, and ending violation against women in society and globally at large. Additionally, the group is centered on generation equality by focusing on reducing numerous forms of violence women undergo across the globe. The idea is achieved via multiple launched campaigns by the organization of the group, UN women. The group takes numerous causes of action, which include education and training of women, women and poverty, women and health, and violence against women, all focusing on bringing gender equality and express women's voice. The Un women are the selected group in this assignment that seeks to fight social inequality that broadly involves women across the globe. The coursework broadly analyzes UN women as the chosen group that fights a form of social inequality by discussing its reflection and policy change, among other essential sections addressed in the coursework.
Ending violence against women, leadership, and political participation describe the cause of UN women. Violence women undergo in various forms, including rape, domestic violence, sexual harassment, prenatal sex selection, and obstetric violence, among other forms of violence women undergo. The mentioned types of abuse seek to elevate women and bring them on the same per as other human beings, especially men in society. Additionally, the group under discussion extends and offers women various ways they can stand rape as a form of sexual harassment, which contributes to gender inequality (Dryzek et al., 2019). Some of the essential approaches and methods they use include speaking out against the root cause of rape. It promotes and prevents women against a form of harassment that contributes to the sexual harassment context where women undergo difficulties across societies. Each set of discussed causes describe the selected cause fights social inequalities and broadly involve women in across numerous organizations.
Limited attention to neglected groups and issues, Inadequate human, technical and financial investments, gender inequality, impunity, and insufficient data and research describe the main challenges of UN women, challenges that limit its success across the globe (Berry, M. E., & Rana 2019). Limited attention to the neglected group is the main mentioned challenge faced by the Un women group as attention describes the essential step that describes its path towards success. Limited attention not only acts as a challenge but also limits the dimensions under which the group operates. Gender inequality is described historically and permits forms under which oppressive characters emerge, bearing in mind the two gender, men and women. Historical context regarding inequality, as mentioned, set the environment under which gender inequality operates. Women continue to experience numerous forms of violence across the globe. It marks gender inequality as the main challenge UN women group experience, which limits its success.
Additionally, impunity is another form of main challenge the group experience along its course to impact and encourage inequality as opposed to a social challenge, gender inequality. The challenge becomes practical as the UN women group expects to work with numerous states, which defines its advances and approach as well as accomplishment towards success. Various state's accountability serves the main challenge towards the group course to success. The state's cooperation or unaccountability play a crucial role that describes the groups or organizational approach to success since numerous countries fail to acknowledge the move, the group finds the take most challenging. Some of the main unaccountability or impunity includes insufficient allocation of resources at a national level, inadequate legal protections, and enforcement.
Women's voices are centered in the group, UN Women, and work on rights and gender equality, which serves the main stage. The center of voice is linked to management and control of what women undergo across the globe and by working with numerous states globally. Since every aspect of the group focus on various issues that only involve women, the voice centered on the group broadly associate women.
The course reading or learning has contributed to a greater extend about the personal understanding of the group as it involved an approach that widens individual picture of the organization. Reflection method obtained from course reading has enabled the identification of various experiences, including action, awareness of uncomfortable feelings the group undergoes, such as obstacles towards the success (Uteng, Singh, & Lam 2019). The approach learned from the course further the understanding of reflection by initiating evaluation and relevance of knowledge that helps to determine the problem. Reflection evaluation and key research elements learn from the course reading have enabled in the identification of the numerous challenges the group experiences starting from states' cooperation and management of different roles undertaken. I can see part of the organization that is problematic or termed difficultly. The purpose of the organization is to cooperate with other states that form a problematic part of the group. It has limited chances to influence state accountability towards its contribution.
The policy of the group identified is family-oriented cash transfers from a gender perspective. The policy needs change as it brings the idea of inequality in gender, especially in the female gender, which broadly involves women. It needs change as the concept is not intended to serve and make women feel powerful compared to men but to bring the idea of equality. The change is supposed to be initiated, as this helps to include equality across the two genders. The policy currently serves one gender, women. The idea should be encouraged to include both sexes to embrace what is termed equality in the region or the group. Upon implementation of the policy, it will serve both gender, men, and women across the globe. I choose the policy as it hits the main current issues in the context of social inequality across societies. I select the policy to embrace equality from tow genders too. The impact of changed policy in the community will come with numerous advantages, including social equality and limitation of other social norms that restrict women's ability to actively involved in various essentials, societal, and family participation. Change is noticed in social norms that broadly includes both genders.
Conclusion
To sum up, the UN women group is the selected group for this assignment. It has numerous causes of action, including gender equality, that seek to embrace challenges women experience at the expense of social inequality. Challenges that the group experience includes states cooperation, which limits its success. The problems encountered at the state cooperation level include inadequate policies that the group usually experience. Women's voices are centered in the group, and objectives all fall on the implementation of gender equality that seeks to elevate what they experience in the context of the social norm. Policy identified serves to bring uniformity across the two genders.
