I tend to believe that I am an expresser. At the workplace, I value people that I interact with, and I tend to communicate my feelings rather than making communications verbally. As compared to some of my colleagues, I tend to be friendly, supportive and relationship-focused. At my workplace, I am informal, casual and easy-going and interested in achieving rapport with people around me. I can describe myself as an amiable individual. Amiable prefer asking questions than giving orders and thus are comfortable expressing their emotions. The needs of the individuals seem to focus on personal security with an orientation in the relationships. As compared to individuals aligned to other social styles, the amiable individual appears to look for personal motivations of his or her colleagues and emphasize on teamwork (Valencia, Carrillo, & Benitez, 2012). In particular, the individual is easy for others to socialize with, making him or her increase in social networks.

Leading and management of Amiable Coworkers

Working with different communication, social style maybe sometimes cumbersome. In this case, one needs to understand the particular social style model and find the most appropriate communication approach. The different social styles may inflict conflict between two or more colleagues in the workplace. I would approach the conflict at the workplace by listening to each colleague instead of getting ready to react without identifying the root of the problem. Secondly, please get to know people with a different communication style and consider their perception. After drawing out the opinion between the conflicting parties, handle their issues in private to prevent other members of the staff from knowing the conflict (Frieden, 2016). Additionally, the organizational leaders need to be courteous when solving problems to avoid aligning on one side during problem-solving circumstances. Therefore, the differences in social style models could be prevented by a careful approach to the differences.

The TRACOM Social style indicator reveals that my EQ score is 110, and the percentile score is 70. The results calculation results indicate that I can cope up with my emotions, the emotions of other people around me and the overall emotional environment. The skill is likely to assist me in various ways of management. The skill is expected to aid my success at the workplace in multiple ways. More so, studies reveal that a healthy EQ enhances problem-solving and leadership ability as well as goal achievement (Jorfi et al.,2014). As a result, the skill could contribute to professional success in general. Therefore, the EI scores could assist in improving problem resolution capability.

TRACOM's social styles model is a communication tool that solves misunderstanding in the workplace. Individuals at the workplace have a different personality, pace and ease of interaction with others. As a result, there is a need to understand each other's social style model and focus on a timely resolution. I am an expresser who believes in upholding relationships rather than verbally communicating emotions. I believe in listening to different colleagues as a solution to arising problems.
