Dealing with environmental degradation has been a challenge today because of careless activities by human beings. The rate at which the environment is being polluted is increasingly growing with time despite the measures that have been put in place by the government and environmental organizations. Besides, both humans and animals are dependent on the environment, but individuals are doing little to ensure that there is the achievement of a sustainable environment. Also, dealing with the emission of gasses and smoke to the environment has increased the problems associated with the Ozone layer (Finn & Wright, 2012). Today, the number of illnesses in various countries is highly caused by pollution in the environment.
Dealing with such types and level of pollution need to be tackled with technology which is improved from time to time. Technological innovations tend to be more efficient as opposed to the use of traditional methods in controlling pollution to the environment. Also, the level of technology that is associated with the technology employed is far much higher compared to when the process is dealt with manually. Humanity depends on the actions of one another. This implies that our actions need not violate the rights of other individuals in the society. Wildfires have been a menace in recent, and all have been as a result of negligence and human fault. The amount of loss that is created by wildfires is way higher as the environment is destroyed as the property is also lost in the process.
Dealing with wildfires has been a dilemma since controlling the activities and handling people is quite expensive. The introduction of Unmanned Aircraft Systems is among the best solutions that have been put in place through the help of technology. The system operates in a manner that can detect the eruption of fire and able to send a message. This is one of the benefits that individuals are enjoying from the innovation (Austin, 2011). Also, this has helped in the reduction of wildfires since most of them are easily detected before the spread. The use of this technology must imply that there will be a huge save in terms of cost. First, it does not require a high number of personnel to monitor the systems.
One individual is enough to have a closer look to confirm some of the messages on wildfires that may arise. Looking forward, the technology might be improved further in a way that it can detect any immoral activities, especially in the forests where such activities are common (Watts, Ambrosia, & Hinkley, 2012). Some activities, like charcoal burning that are common in developing countries, highly contribute to the emergence of wildfires. Such counties need to embrace the new technology as a way of dealing with the problem as they conserve the environment.
The world needs to continue using technology as a means of achieving a solution to some of the long-term problems that have been in existence. The use of unmanned aircraft plays a significant role in stopping wildfires and preventing the occurrence of loss as the world is focused on achieving a sustainable environment.
