I maintain a commendable level of required standards by staying well-informed about policies and procedures within the school. I utilize the knowledge obtained from the extensive list of materials provided in the module and apply the same to my professional practice. This, in turn, enables me to understand the concepts taught in other modules. I have come to learn that rationality helps refine understanding since the approach to thinking requires imagination and creativity. A domain of creative process that is specifically powerful is the willingness to question. I apply such knowledge in my research studies. Lastly, through the materials, I have learned the importance of time management, and I continue improving on this aspect. I can now decide on the best intervention to help me save time.

Documents Example
Conversion from Fractions to Percentages
When it came to my attention that there would be a math class in this module, I was a little bit scared. My belief is that I do not like the subject, yet at the end of the day, it is an inevitable part of a student's life. Math is one of the subjects that confuses me a lot, especially with the number mix-ups. However, the type of mathematics taught in this module was an eye-opener, and I learned how to solve problems and never give up when not understanding a concept. Conversion from fractions to percentage is pertinent in any professional practice. To me, it means learning how one can understand statistics that is used to complete various processes in the career world. Percentages and decimals are symbols that are seen in daily life and language. For instance, it is common to go to a restaurant and see a 10% bill service charge, or a 30% discount at a store. Likewise, information discussing tax, unemployment, diseases, or other values are represented in the form of decimals or percentages. In other words, they are a more straightforward way of conveying values, scale, or size. (Stella Cottrell, 2012)The class material conversion from fraction to decimal has taught me three things. In the first place, I can now compare data with different totals or sample sizes. I can also quantify the amount of change over time. Lastly, I can express aa reduction or increase relative to its initial size. As it occurs, I will come across data represented in the form of fractions or percentages while researching for a thesis, essays, or dissertation. What I have learned from this unit could help me understand such data even if they do not share a common baseline. Through the conversion of different information into fractions and percentages, one can compare them. I am now confident that I can effectively relate to any information represented in the form of the tow symbols. I can use the information gained from this class to enhance my roles in a future career.
Academic Writing
Academic writing is arguably the most crucial aspect of a learner's life at the university. It is the art of transforming and expressing thoughts into logical and scientific form (Ann, 2009). As a necessary skill, students should practice regularly to ensure their skills become refined. After weeks of taking classes on academic writing, I have accumulated knowledge in the process one should follow when composing various papers which are essential for success in the university. This has turned out to be the best knowledge gained in this module. Initially, I considered the draft to be a less critical process of writing a paper. The framework provided in this class changed my view of the process of developing an essay. Writing process involves various steps such as prewriting, drafting, organizing, revising, editing, and publishing (Jolly & Bolitho, 2011). It is crucial when developing an academic paper to go through all the processes and ensure that the final versions are a complete, polished piece. However, the writing process is not linear, and one can move back and forth between the phases as required. For instance, it is possible to return to drafting to expand on thoughts and ideas.
Developing academic papers was a challenging task, but through this class, I have improved my writing skills. This will undoubtedly become useful in my future both as an apprentice and an employee. I will implement the learning outcome of this module and strive to achieve the best as a writer. I will continue to progress as a student with the determination from this class. As a result, I believe that I am well prepared to compose other papers that will be assigned to me in the course of my study.
Study Skills
The lessons under this topic have been helpful, particularly in understanding my style of learning. The introduction of the study style checklist enabled me to learn that people are unique, and so is their style of studying. To get the best out of studying, everyone needs to assess what works for them (Senemoglu, 2011). Even though it will take longer to adopt the perfect style, I believe that with practice, I will be able to work with well laid out plan. Personally, it is fun to memorize academic concepts taught in class. I like to challenge myself mentally because it makes me stimulate my brain to remember academic concepts fast. As a result, I can retain as much information as possible. I also like discussing what was taught in class with classmates. New concepts are fascinating, and I like listening more. While studying, I write down short notes, which additionally help me remember concepts.
From what was taught in class, I found out that my study habits were poor though I exhibited weaknesses in some cases. I exhibited strength in studying at the same time, which is usually in the morning. Also, I plan my study time with each having a particular concept to read on. However, I understood that I had a problem with procrastination. As a result, I have learned never to push forward the time planned for studies. Dealing with the issue of procrastination is through becoming self-discipline and sticking to the plan. I am slowly learning how not to procrastinate and once perfected; the skill will help me in timely delivery of tasks during schooling and even after being employed.
Research
Under this subject of the module, I understood for the first time how to independently judge the validity of a study. From its inception, research has been an integral part of university education. Despite what one is majoring in, they will at one point have to carry out a study (Muhammad, 2008) The purpose of the research is to address various problems or situations, and students must develop their skills on the task since it is what determines whether one will successfully graduate or not. In other words, the points or marks earned in university heavily relies on the final dissertation and thesis papers, which are research projects assigned before completing studies in university.
Through the materials attached to this section, I learned how to evaluate primary research. Subsequently, I can appreciate the roles played by various scholars who are in the frontline of expanding human understanding of various issues. For instance, I remember learning from the material how primary research helps in the field of medicine by making it possible to know various possibilities in treating patients. I also learned that systematic review, meta-analysis, and literature review are the highest levels of research evidence used to investigate issues and bring changes. Other forms of evidence can be obtained from randomized controlled trials that involve evaluation of specific intervention through experiments (Notes, 2019). It is also possible to gather evidence through analyses, expert opinions, or quantitative and qualitative studies.
Through this topic, I can now view research from a different perspective. I can identify what a phenomenon is, whether the evidence and conclusions provided are valid. Besides, I can look for issues that might be of interest in research and determine whether they are worth investigating. Lastly, I can determine whether the research findings can be applied in getting solutions to the problem it intended to address.
Presentation Skills
I learned a lot about presentation and how the importance of having the skills it takes. I have done a presentation a couple of times, and I can admit that it is tough. For individuals lacking natural eloquence, the public can be a nerve-racking task. However, I have realized after going through the lesson on a presentation that I am a lot better. One of the biggest lessons learned in this class is that the most exceptional skill in regards to public speaking is the presentation style adopted by an individual. As an eloquent speaker, one needs to pack his or her presentation with fervor, proprietary information, and useful content as well as humor.
The lessons from this class also made is clear that not all can match the skills of public speakers such as Gettysburg. However, several tasks were provided that could help set one up for better presentation in understanding that it is advised to practice the presentation multiple times. For one to...
