Global inequality covers many aspects, such as education, earnings and access to primary health care - but inequality stretches further still than this - with certain sections of communities not having equal access or quality commodities as others; for example women typically earn less than male colleagues even when offering similar services (Hulme 2016). The third world countries are significantly affected by the issue of global poverty and inequality, and the wealthy nations in the world have a responsibility of ensuring that they are helping these low-income countries to manage the problems (Lange, Wodon, Carey, & World Bank, 2018). It is important to note that the wealthy states play a role in causing the problems experienced by societies experiencing extreme poverty levels and inequality. These wealthy states cause the most pollution to the atmosphere, but the common effects on the damages are experienced globally. Some of the programs that the wealthy nations can undertake to help the societies encountering extreme poverty and inequalities include offering foreign aid, making immigration reforms, and institute regional political integration.
