Introduction
There are various contemporary problems that profoundly affect world politics. The contemporary issues include; economic, social, environmental, and religious issues. These issues increase the rate of unemployment, corruption in the government, violence between citizens as well as terrorism, lack of adequate education, and poverty. Therefore, this task will review some of the contemporary problems that are affecting world politics.
Global Political Issues
A lot of challenges are affecting world politics, and most of the political leaders have set their focus and attention on them, i.e., the United States leaders. Although the physical borders between the countries have are now less meaningful as commercial interests have expanded globally, international political issues have highly increased (Richard, 2017). Some states are focusing on maintaining their social structure and economic history, and the others are joining the world economy to be part of global trade.
Trade and Marketing issues
In the global trade market, there are a lot of issues and physical threats. Terrorism is one of the physical threats that is affecting international trade. Although globalization has highly created more Channels of the market to most of the companies in the world, it sometimes leads to domestic competition threats (Baylis, 2020). These threats usually create tensions for the nations as well as their trade partners. For example, trade tension between China and the United States, as more conflict may arise. For instance, steel manufactures in China can sell their items to the United States at a lower price as compared to the steel manufacturing companies in U. S.
Healthcare Issues
The cost of healthcare facilities is growing rapidly in the world, as compared to people's income and the rate of inflation. For example, the issue of inadequate healthcare has been a political problem for many years. Thus, a political issue to most of the countries, i.e., the United States (Baylis, 2020). Also, a lot of resources are normally spent by governments to provide excellent health care to the people. Improving health care services to the Americans a lot is required; thus, a political issue.
Culture and Religious factors
According to some of the studies, there are a number of reasons as to why most of the people do not turn to participate in voting. Religious and cultural beliefs are some of the factors that limit people of a certain group to avoid political engagements (Richard, 2017). For example, some of the denominations restrict the females from participating in politics, as they usually set duties and roles of people according to their gender. It is important for every citizen to participate in political developments, i.e., during voting. When people fail to participate in these developments due to their beliefs, corrupt leaders may be elected, and this will be a problem for the country. Also, Culture and religious differences usually affect politics. For example, western Christianity, i.e., Protestantism and Roman Catholicism, do not allow the election of an Islamic person to lead them.
Conclusion
To sum up, each and every nation should try to reduce the contemporary issues. For example, people should be educated important to participating in the election and avoid all the beliefs of religion and culture. The countries should be encouraged to participate in international trade with other countries, but the government should come in to protect the companies which are in the states. Lastly, on the issue of healthcare, people should be educated on how to prevent themselves from diseases.
