Introduction

The international human rights law offers priceless protection to people against the power of the state. We cannot escape the fact that nations keep on violating human rights freely. Human rights are rules which aid in protecting every person all over the world from harsh social, legal, and political manipulations. Human rights include the power of engaging in free activities, right not to be tortured, the right to just prosecutions when brought before a court, and the freedom of religion. These rights exist in law and morality at the international and national levels. A majority of the countries which belong to the United Nations participate in torturing its citizens. The number of authoritarian states has risen in the past years. Women continue holding low-class status in developing countries as well as in the world's most powerful nation - the United States. Children, on the other hand, are not spared as they continue working in factories and mines in several countries. It is from this perspective of human rights failing in accomplishing fairness that this essay goes on to support the fact that human rights alone cannot achieve justice.

Human Rights Movements Have Accomplished Much

At the very beginning, it is of importance to clarify the acknowledgment of the conservative connotation of human rights. Although the term is within the United Nation's group of rights conventions, covenants, and declarations, as a vast array of privileges such as food and economic opportunity, as well as collective civil liberties like an individual's privilege to freedom (O'Neil 2001, p. 183). The people's rights are regularly likened with personal rights particularly political and civil liberty. Framing protests according to human rights is neither inevitable nor automatic (O'Neil 2001, p. 182). There has been an inclination in the past ages to fit privileges to frame any complaints. Today, over three hundred rights face recognition among universal treaties as the choices of claims for rights increases annually (Clement 2018, p.155). Human rights law can be praised for prohibiting discrimination basing on a vast array of forbidden settings. The International conventions on human rights ban discernment on the grounds of the property, social or national origin, political or other opinions, religion, language, gender, color, and race (Clement 2018, p.158). For instance, Hillary Clinton running for the presidency spot during last elections is evident that the rights of women to participate in politics is being protected though there is still a lot of discrimination towards women leadership. According to the human rights policies, children ought to get protection from victimization on the grounds mentioned above, principles of their family members, legal guardians, or parents, articulated sentiments, activities, and their difference in statuses. By defining the meaning of discrimination as the incitement to harass, torture, deny or treat a person less auspiciously than another individual within the same circumstance with a motive linked to the prohibited ground, then human rights activities fail to achieve social justice since cases of discrimination and injustice are on the rise.

Human Rights Movements Fail to Address Deeper Causes of Violation of Human Rights

There is an enduring discussion in the human rights organizations on the contrast between cultural and social rights, economic, political, and civil rights (Ishay 2004, p. 361). This privilege has contributed to the perception that the outdated methods of human rights movements such as litigation, the setting of standards, shaming and naming, and documentation are not helpful in advocating for the recognition of cultural, social, and economic rights (Ishay 2004, p.363). Human rights movements may perform an active role on desecrations once there is a precise remedy, a violator, and violation. This approach could be essential in dealing with abuses of political and civil rights and is used in disrespecting cultural, social, and economic reasons if they could be enforced in this relevant context. For example, several homeless individuals in the streets face incarceration due to a violation of petty laws such as urban camping. If they are not in a position to vote, then their voices cannot be heard in influencing policymakers to enact projects for national housing. Human rights thus fail to shield socially, and economically marginalized individuals especially incarcerated women being violated and faced adverse sexual abuse in prisons (Davis &Shaylor 2007, p. 1). In today's society, even though human rights movements put a lot of effort in protecting individuals from all sorts of social and legal injustices in their lives, there are evident circumstances that see the blacks facing discernment on racial grounds. Women are also treated unequally in the political, social, and legal sectors as they get victimized a lot through gender-based violence and sexual assaults. These instances show that efforts by human rights alone cannot be successful in enhancing justice in the society as well as to every individual globally.

Human Rights Fail to Provide Open Access in Representations

Women from all ethnical backgrounds and social classes are exempted from official political involvement precisely by attributed sexual status, while working-class men officially face exclusions by the acquisition of property (Fraser 1990, p.63). In several cases, men and women of different races but same class face discriminations on racial grounds. Stratified communities with an original organized context produce different societal clusters in organizational associations of subordination and dominance fail to implement the full parity of participation in its judicial bodies and other bodies that work towards advocation of human rights. For this reason, women continue experiencing gender-based violence, victimization, sexual abuse, and domestic violence as people of color face racial discrimination since this societies do not practice equality even with the presence of human rights bodies (Young 2002, p.122). Legislatures are not the sole national bodies when group representations are of importance. Consultative processes, appointed commissions and committees, public hearings, and courts are some of the other premeditated and decision-making organizations that ought to be applied when seeking for justice. In the past years, more focus has been made to the representation of different groups such as women and children in these bodies. A democratic government that is more represented might have several sites and layers of volunteer, appointed, and elected bodies which review policy efficiency, implement policy decisions, and deliberate on policy options. These bodies should, in turn, have different groups of representations equally. For instance, failing to include women in legislative organizations and having the male be in control cannot be said to represent women thus the issue of women victimization and discrimination can never end.

Human Rights Fail to provide Equality in Political and Economic Outcomes

Even though human rights call for solutions for significant disparities, it fails to validate a collectivist insurgency or a government which pursues to accomplish fairness in economic results through means of subjugation. While it offers explanations for the negative impacts of neoliberal globalization, human rights cannot create enforceable principles which could control the universal market or inverse the continuation of business supremacy (Gunster 2017, p. 136). An example is a society we live in today where the big profits are controlled by those in power like Trump's big businesses running the country's economy at the expense of poor laborer's. Even if it is possible to uphold its impartiality regarding political parties and government affiliations, human rights fail to offer philosophically unbiassed, technocratic resolutions to politically-influenced issues. In collaboration, social justice groups and human rights continue pressuring international firms to assume social obligation codes and connect with the United Nations pact to freely control their practices (Kuper 2004, p. 11). Eventually, a human rights movement's verdict concerning the campaigns seek partners to link with, and the tactics to use depends on its local context and universal inclinations. It is thus apparent that the global human rights activists could be sadly incomplete and inadequate if it fails to integrate the concerns of social justice. Organizations of social justice and human rights hold a prospect of creating active social movements in sectors in which their methods, goals, and values unite (Kuper 2004, p. 12). Although this cannot promise an achievement, it takes gain of the deliberate and ideological connection among these grounds of involvement. Human rights do not guarantee an end to every social and economic inequality, although it holds the latency to alleviate the most malicious effects of thrilling inequality and injustice.

Human Rights Fails to prevent the Annihilation of a Wealth Ceiling

There are significant improvements when it comes to creating a logic of status equality and universal accountability, yet human rights actions lack the will, and human rights the norms for a strict redistributive policy (Nussbaum 2003, p. 36). Even as they concentrate on safeguarding a clear base of strong shield for people in a globalized economy, human rights activists fail to avert the eradication of a wealth ceiling (Pogge 2005, p. 1). For instance, the state of individuals' welfare continues to decline as human rights struggle with the issues of the poor while at the same time those in power continue manipulating the low-class citizens. Hence the legal and political venture of human rights has become a regiment to the upsurge of disparity which paves the way to populism and later abuses of rights (Nussbaum 2003, p. 36). Human rights movements have to reason more for their achievements in describing evil and good very strongly globally. As for the citizens of any nation, they ought to realize the human rights weaknesses and acknowledge their failure in contributing projects and bold visions outside the rights context. Even though human rights activists seem to be laggards to the era of distributional issues, they are not to be liable for discrimination, but individuals have to face their obligation for approaching them as solutions to the problems they encounter (Nussbaum 2003, p. 35). Inequality is an issue which cannot be solved by human rights activists on their own. Since it fails to restructure itself with innovative tools and ideas, the activists on rights of humans need to uphold what its good at - enlightening people's notions of social responsibility and defaming evil, without contending to take a position for universal justice.

Human Rights Influence the Environment

The massive recognition of a drift in the sociocultural framework and natural environment may be found within the United Nation's assertion on the privileges of native persons and Africans towards a suitable universal environment advantageous to their growth (Francioni 2010, p.43). It is perceived that matters of the ecological system like misuse of resources, deforestation, and pollution impacts on people and the society's pleasure of necessary privileges such as the right to self-determination, health, and life (Francioni 2010, p.44). Ecological challenges may as well affect a nation's ability to achieve and fulfill its citizen's rights. Through this manner, human rights cannot satisfy the justice of environmental conditions, appropriate living standards, and health on its own. Instead, the construction of environmental protection policies can come in h...
