Harrison This book has been written to portray equality among people by employing the handicaps of both mentality and physicality. This equality was mandated by the amendments of the American of 211, 2012, 2013 and the law enforced by the handicaps general and the Diana Mo (Reed and Benjamin) (Reed and Benjamin) on Glampers. Both Hazel and George Bergeron are seen to be participating in watching the program of ballerinas over the television as exposed by Kurt Vonnegut. They are all carried down by the weights of sash and the bags of the birdshot who are doing dances which are not any pleasant to their eyes.
The intelligence of George is natural and this forces him to act with a higher level of view of things corresponding to greater understanding for that reason, therefore, he decides to wear a radio of mental handicap which I turn irritates his hear as it produces a sharp noise and gets him into a position of not thinking hard. All the time he tends to feel like all of that occur when a perpetrator occurs when a perpetrator occurs when a perpetrator occurs when a perpetrator occurs when a perpetrator occurs when a perpetrator existing ballerinas occurs without handicap of appropriation.
This is shown by them being twice in pain and the ears of George being posed to pain by the noise (Reed and Benjamin). Hazel who is evaluated to be average sees George as being in a position to relieve himself from the noise by having the radio around his neck. Hazel is perfectly average in the mental and does not require to put into use any physical or mental handicap. Hazel makes up her mind and swears that shoe would not allow being moved by the threats of superiority and instead advised George to remove some of the balls in the lead at the time he gets back home. He otherwise refuses to take the advice and argues that this would make the community competitive a point it had come out of.
According to Gale and Cengage, the announcement of the announcer who struggles reading the news because of having a serious impediment in speech interrupts the television program. In the end, if a single ballerinas who ends up reading the news instead. This part, therefore, reveals that Harrison Bergeron, George and fourteen-year-old son Hazel have gotten themselves off the jail. The ballerina gives a report of the news by reading and amidst it mentions that Harrison should be categorized as very dangerous since he is handicapped currently and is known to be generous and at the same time an athlete.
At once as the news continue, Harrison enters the newsroom having himself loaded with very heavy materials which result in an earthquake being generated at the studio. He wears heavy and carries a heavy bag filled with metals. He is seen to wear a face of handicap and he remains very strong. He declares himself as the empire and gives an order that he must obeyed by every individual as he tears the handicap stating that the number one lady to freely give herself to the empire and he joined by the ballerinas. Harrisons orders the musicians to play the best of their skill for the empires to dance and they dance well and beautifully.
Dianna Glampers comes to the newsroom studio at once and uses a short gun to shoot the empire and Harrison, and after killing them, she makes an order to the musicians to handicap themselves lest they are also shot dead. This killing is used as a threat and to the musicians to help in controlling the level of indifferences between people. As the government strives by all means to have the people kept to the point where they wanted to keep the people in the same level and not having any of them seen as superior than the others. This therefore as exposed in this book, the strife and scrabble for supertioty and the fact of looking different and complicated lead to the death of the intelligent man.
The government can be said to be more superior to an individual and hence can chose to do whatever it finds suitable. The spies as well take keen look into to the implementation of the recommendations of the government. The events on the television have been missed by George Bergeron as a result of being in the kitchen drinking beer. He comes back and finds hazel crying, and the television is already burned. Hazels are unable to remember the occurrences of the events and Gorge advise her to let go of the painful events which she agrees to (Gale and Cengage).
The analysis of the book
This book "Harrison Bergeron" which is considered one of the known books of Vonnegut which contain the interesting concepts and the miniature of her work in the plans of the writer. It talks about horrific situations more simply by creating humor. In the early works of Vonnegut, the short structured sentences can be traced. As well the tone of the ancient days of her work can still be found in this work. Ha paints the future and draws attention to absurdity in his work of literature which she did with a numerous voice accompanied with a calmness melody in the music.
The fact that the writer decides to refute the other voices and says they are unfair and adopting voice of no competition which gives the reader a room to question her work and thought in the expression in the book. The reader is otherwise given room to reason with the world and to have a varied view of the same issue as addressed and this will result in a diversity of information. This may result in ironical and parenthetical linking of the ideas and their arrangements that determine their presentation in the literature work compiled in the book.
The book handles themes that include technology and scientific advancement. It does not attack the technology but pinpoints the absurdity in the progress of technology that goes without then human oversight. The development and advancement in technology without control and taking concern on other perspectives of life is put off to look unhealthy to the social and the racial life in general. The king the consideration of the absurdity of the handicap device and especially the metal handicapping that he uses in his ears which futuristic gadgets area how of technological advancement. At the same time, his son Harrison is as well expected to put on big earphones and special specks to help in handicapping his vision and in giving him headaches out of which the government mandates the physical handicap with simplicity. The work of Vonnegut seems to criticize the work and the prosecution of the government in the lives of the individuals and their potentials as well.
The handicap is given the mandate by the government to make equality in the lives of everyone which Vonnegut is against. As demonstrated in the book Harrison Bergeron's, any person who is found to be above average in terms of the level of intelligence and physical handicap is mandated to be jailed (Reed and Benjamin). The impact of the jailing of the individuals in this concern is a challenge though used by the government to tame and promote equality. This is the same perception which the writer is seriously against and is up to the lifestyle that he exalts himself and takes himself to leadership. This government seems to stand in the contrast of the power of the individuals posed to absurdity. This book therefore is in the bid of corrective measure in the takes and decisions made by the governments.
