For instance, they managed to successfully lure Alexey Ivanov and Vasiliy Gorshkov, who were international hackers from Russia, into the US for charges and convictions of cybercrime in 2000. There have been a series of similar cases in the US, where its law enforcement targets the arrest and convictions of many non-American cybercriminals who have been perpetrating malicious online internet activities against the American property and security since the year 2000. The most recent cases revolve around cybercrime activities committed by the notably most wanted Iranians among other foreigners. The examples include the Iranian hackers under FBI custody on the 17th of September, 2020. They had tracked the satellite and hacked the aerospace data. The other two Iranians were charged with cyber theft and the campaign of defacement against the systems of computers in the Middle East, Europe, and the United States of America (Williquette, 2017). The several announced cybercrime charges waved against the alleged Iranians reflects the threat against America's cybersecurity that originates from that nation.
