The California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) chain is an American company that tends to deal in non-cultural pizzas, such as the Thai Chicken, Jamaican Jerk Chicken pizzas, BBQ Chicken Pizza,. Like any other company, CPK has a set of standardized code of ethics and CSR to give guidance and conduct in which al the company's employees and the leaders of the company are required to adhere to.

The leaders of the company are obliged and have a duty to maintain a certain level of ethics and transparency to all the stakeholders. The reputation of the company is one of the most significant assets, and its values depend on the conduct of the employees and that of the leaders; all the employees and directors are expected to foster the tradition of CPK (Hou & Reber, 2011). The set code helps to give rules to address any instance of code ethics.
