Introduction

Many consequences are related to my eating character traits. As a college student, I rely on eating in motels and restaurants. The same might sound costly, but that is the sole option available for me at the moment. It is worth noting that economically, the practice affects my wellbeing and financial status, but that is what I do as I have zero otherwise (Haysom et al., 2019). I am a college student taking a degree in economics who has been pushed to situations of poverty because of my financial background. In the United States, more financial aid should be projected to focus on how students manage their eating habits daily. The foods we consume in hotels and restaurants sometimes might not be healthy because hotel owners are in the business to make a profit (van Berkum, Dengerink, & Ruben, 2018). It means that they sometimes use any crude means to manufacture and cook the food at the expense of consumers. As such, the paper argues that the government of the United States should provide licensure to all the individuals possessing hotels as this will ensure health is maintained.

Production of food relies on many circumstances from where the food is attained, how it is cooked, and many other things. Environmentally, some meals are prepared in worse conditions. Lobster, for instance, is reached from the river. Consumers do not understand whether the lobsters they consume are attained form salty water or freshwater (van Berkum, Dengerink, & Ruben, 2018). It is worth noting that lobsters reached from salty water might, at times, be harmful and not fit for human consumption. Nonetheless, food producers are in the market to make a profit and do not care if the end products are dangerous or not. It should be noted that environmentally, some foods are worth for human consumption. Many problems are leading to obesity in the United States, and the critical issue is matters dealing with incorrect eating (van Berkum, Dengerink, & Ruben, 2018). It should be noted that the manufacture of food contributes, for instance, to climate change, acid rain and eutrophication, and depletion of biodiversity.

It is further essential to understand that a considerable and effective drain on other resources, including nutrients, water, energy, and land area (Haysom et al., 2019). Mostly, people should be concerned about the approaches used to manufacture the foodstuffs they consume because such doe s not only impact lives but the environment in which they reside.

Myth 10 indicates that power is exceptionally concentrated for real change, but the matter is outdated. As such, food production and consumption can be enhanced in numerous ways. For instance, the federal and local governments should ensure that all companies producing food are licensed. In this way, experts and food professionals will be feeding the nation, and the United States of America would not be having problems in such a case (Haysom et al., 2019). An example from the case is whereby people should stop believing in things they hear and act on matters they understand.

For instance, this includes ensuring that all people across the country get adequate and healthy foods on a routine basis (van Berkum, Dengerink, & Ruben, 2018). The food system of the United States should be controlled, considering that many people are pronounced sick because of the dirty and contaminated foodstuff they consume on a routine basis. Principally, the government should enact measures aimed at checking if the foods produced annually are of the required standards before consumption. Additionally, individuals across the world should understand that the power to act in stopping the use of harmful foods is in their hands (van Berkum, Dengerink, & Ruben, 2018). As indicated in myth 10, the failure of action within the community results in elevated problems as far as the consumption of food is concerned.

To make the food system more sustainable, it is fundamental for producers to enact and use effective methods and approaches. For instance, modern tools and technology should be applied routinely since this will ensure the product is up to the required standards. It is worth noting that using current techniques and gaining education on production and eating habits is essential to both producers and consumers in like manner. Nonetheless, there are costs and other issues connected with the procedure (Haysom et al., 2019). For example, using the right methods and techniques for farmers might be costly, considering the high expenses of attaining them. Additionally, consumers sometimes eat foods that are not right for their health because of lacking another way. Therefore, it is fundamental for the government to offer cheap and cost-effective materials, including manure and other things to farmers.

The process will ensure the production and manufacture of food are up to standard. Additionally, people should be trained on healthy eating habits because a lack of information leads to making bad choices. Further, the government should find approaches to reduce poverty levels because such is the cause of poor and unhealthy eating habits. People should be provided with foodstuffs on a cheap budget that they can manage (van Berkum, Dengerink, & Ruben, 2018). With such in place, individuals will be able to plan their food choices and hence reduce the numerous food problems experienced in the United States and other parts of the world.
