Introduction
Alzheimer disease is said to be mostly caused by amyloid peptide as the cascade that is the most significant contributor to the disease. The death toll of Alzheimer's disease is 110,561 individuals according to CDC (CDC., n. d.). on the other hand, CDC. (n. d.) outlines that about five million Americans are living with Alzheimer's disease and that by 2050, people living with Alzheimer's will be four times the number present. At least 14 million people will be living with Alzheimer's under the age of 65 years. It is among the descriptive epidemiology since its study, the cause and preventive strategies are not predetermined (Friis, & Sellers, 2014).
Characteristics of Persons
Many Alzheimer's patients are characterized by dysfunction. Dysfunction is reported to be generated by soluble assembly of states of amyloid peptide. Therefore, Alzheimer is a progressive mental deterioration which tends to occur in the middle of old age due to the process by which the brain generally faces degeneration (Friis, & Sellers, 2014). Alzheimer has been proven to affect women mostly than men since 16% of women over 71 years old have been reported to develop degenerative brain disorder (Big Think Editors., n. d.).
The disease is accompanied by various challenges including dementia as the main problem since Alzheimer is connected to the loss of an individual's cognitive functioning. An individual's behavioral capabilities end up being affected since a person's daily activities, and life processes are challenged.
Neuronal dysfunction as induced by Av offers a chance for the analysis of a patient to be having Alzheimer disorder. The other cause of the death toll is that the progression of the disease is taken to be determined through the establishment of the elevated levels of Av oligomers which are said to disrupt the normal functioning of the body synaptic processes including the synaptic plasticity thus triggering memory loss and various cognitive deficits (Friis, & Sellers, 2014).
Place
Kamat et al. (2016) outline that mitogen-activated protein kinase, glycogen synthase-3 v, extracellular and receptor kinase are the factors that are not readily determined thus an individual ends up dying of Alzheimer's disease. The place that an individual live can cause Alzheimer's disease. for instance, the inoculation of Alzheimer disorder transgenic in conjunction with Av or conceivable against Av antibodies tend to lessen amyloid plaque prevalence (Koffie et al., 2011).
Time
The difficulty in control of Alzheimer reduces the time that could be used to prevent further effects. Another contributor to the deaths of Alzheimer's individuals is that there are factors that confirm the difficulty in the control of Alzheimer disease is connected to the fact that mutations that are associated with a rare onset of AD tend to lead to the production of Av thus increasing the propensity for Av formation and aggregation.
