Introduction

My career lifestyle preferences include marketplace values. I prefer work centered lifestyle with an emphasis on the competitive rivalry, achievement orientation, and individualism. My work focused lifestyle favors competitive activities within the public sphere. That means my work life balance is heavily leaning on work life. Positive self-esteem is essential to a successful career plan because it build's one's confidence in their competence. As a person who has self-belief, it is easier to tackle tasks within the workplace because of the belief in one's own ability to handle these tasks. Positive self-esteem is also essential for a person to view themselves as valuable and makes them want to make decisions that can enhance their value rather than decrease it.

Using the theory of multiple intelligence, I have at least two categories of multiple-intelligence that was categorized by Dr. Howard Gardner. Developing your Resume and Cover letter

The objective of the professional profile is to enable the person reading the resume to formulate a reasonable opinion regarding my qualification before I even offer proof of this qualification. This section has a brief statement highlighting the experience and my attributes.

The action verbs on the resume should use strong language such as "implemented" instead of "started." Some other action verbs include: adapt, administer, analyze, arrange, detect, compile, collect, collaborate, change, catalog, assess. There is also the need to use industry relevant keywords because some organizations use resume scanning software that spots keywords in resumes. Keywords are in job listings, industry websites, and employer websites. The personal brand statement is a power-packed statement about you. It is in resumes, cover letters, email, online sites like LinkedIn. It is a statement that contains the benefits you offer the employer. It starts with a word that best describes you, mostly action verbs such as accomplished or analyzed. To accompany a resume is a cover letter. A cover letter contains a summary of a resume. It is usually one page and is individualized for each job. It is advisable for the cover letter to refer to a specific individual if possible. The cover letter should refer to the resume for relevant experiences and accomplishments. If the message is asking for an interview, the cover letter should indicate when you will call to book a convenient time.

Resume recap

Role and purpose of the resume are to highlight the central section of my experience, skills, achievements, and specific objectives. Essentially a resume is a self-marketing tool. It is used to gain entry to the interview shortlist. The main sections of a winning resume are Contact information which is the only way the employer can reach you. The summary section is the location of the personal brand statement. The summary section captivates the reader of the resume. There is the skills section that contains the skills of the job applicant. This section includes the extra abilities that might be useful in such a post. Included in this section is the personal power and personality of the job applicant. The professional experience section shows the previous areas the job applicant has worked. The education experience is the last section that contains the education background of the job applicant.

The best organization for my resume is the hybrid format that is useful for listing essential skills and functions while also displaying the work experience required for a specific position. I prefer this type of setup because it does not overly rely on one aspect. Instead, it combines with other elements to display an all-around employee. It is important to proofread the resume to avoid grammar mistakes. Among the grammar mistakes to avoid are the homophones such as "to" "too" and "two." There are also the misspelled words, abbreviation and capitalizations.
