Introduction
Nature is essential, what happens to the ecology around us affects pour life and what affects humankind impacts the environment either negatively or positively. Imagine living in a kind of environment in which we have attained ecological sustainability. It is, however, essential to note that nature is the whole world. In such a world where the human has reached the environment, sustainability means that they do not support such actions like an animal and in such a world the human race has realized the importance of caring for the environment or the surroundings that they live. And this kind of world in peaceful and so much beautiful like never seen before. In this world the human being is taken care of the water catchment areas are planting more trees to sustain the air they breathe. In such a world, people have realized in an attempt to live a longer and healthier life then they have to become one with nature. In this kind of the environment, the people prefer plant-based proteins, hand-washed clothes and sun-dried clothes (Morelli, 2011). The natural disasters might consist of earthquakes, hurricanes, earthquakes. Tornados or even fires. In this new world, people can effectively deal with natural disasters. This is because they will seek help where necessary and support each other as a family. When it comes to natural disaster, it is hard now, and it will still be hard in the new world (Starr, 1996). However, the ways of managing and coping with them can be significantly be improved. Such ways can be preparedness in the instance they strike. And therefore, this can be achieved through educating the public on the measures that can be taken if, for instance, a hurricane does strike. Therefore, in the new world, people have effectively leant healthy coping mechanisms in case of natural disasters. Additionally, the people in the new world have developed environmentally friendly technology to detect the occurrence of such natural disasters, and this increases their preparedness.
In a sustainable future, the earth's biodiversity, as well as the ecosystem, will be highly increased. The biodiversity is responsible for boosting the ecosystem productivity, therefore in the new world, all organisms, both small and large, will have a vital part to play to ensure increased productivity. For instance, a vast amount of vegetation translates to cleaner water, air, increased rains and reduction in the population of the ozone layer. In the new world, people will have a great responsibility of making sure that no species of animal or plant goes extinct. There will exist no hunting for food or fun since they have adopted better eating mechanism by switching to plant-based proteins, and this will make sure that animals live longer since they are protected (Starr, 1996). The things that have been done differently in support of the biodiversity, including support of the various animals that live in the environment such as a bird, mammals, reptiles as well as vegetations surroundings. Additionally, people have maintained a clean environment in their communities and hence promoting biodiversity.
In the new, there will be a system of production and distribution. With individual preferring plant-based food, then community supporter agriculture will be highly be supported. In this era, the best place to purchase the locally and freshly organic product is in the farmer's markets. However, in the new world, the individuals will be able to purchase a share of the in the local farms and tern they will be delivered with fresh product consistently. The community supported agriculture will consist of mainly the organic vegetables, and on rare cases portray as well as animal products such as milk and cheese. In case an individual subscribes for harvest, they receive a basket of their production weekly. This most effective way since it provides an alternative to all the processed foods as well as the support the farmers in general (Starr, 1996).
As a result of the extensive use of plastic containers as well as the plastic bags, the environment is filled with microplastics. The use of plastic products a byproduct is a big issue in the current with microplastic pollutants affecting the large water bodies as well as the freshwater catchment and fresh bodies as well. The microplastics have been confirmed in the digestive system of the marine animals in the water that we consume s well as in the foods that we as human consume. In the new world, water pollution through the use of plastic will be eradicated since there is increased protection of the environment (Morelli, 2011). Grate awareness will be done on the dangers posed by microplastic pollutants. However, to effectively manage the water recycling of water will be very much advocated for, this can be for the animal's consumption or agricultural purposes. Additionally, there will exist no regulation that prevents the populace from rainwater; however, the safe water to drink act will still be operational. Provision of water treatment capabilities through the use of water filters, flocculants as well as a solar disinfectant will be effectively used to manage the water resources.
The term energy efficiency simply means the use of lesser energy while partaking the same activities or tasks undertaken before but in an effective manner. Measures are therefore put in place to minimize the carbon print of each of the individual. In the new world, people will employ new ways in the utilization of available or similar energy in the production process. Energy efficiency, therefore, will be linked to such benefits like reduction of gases in the greenhouse, decrease the import of energy (Starr, 1996). There are different ways in which the people in the future can manage or contribute to energy efficiency, and this can include switching from the light bulbs to the led bulbs which are considered to be light savers-upgrading the appliances in the homes to more efficient energy consuming appliances, by using of the public transportation instead of privately owned cars, installation of extra insulations in our homes, turning off the engines of the car at a stop. These are some of the mana ways that the people in the future will effectively enhance energy efficiency.
In a sustainable environment, there will be no or little use of the plastic bag, most of the product consumed will be plant-based products and the waste produced from such products will be converted into manure for use as fertilizers around the firm. And this, however, means that them. It is essential, however, to note that humans we are doing our best to prevent grave impact on the environment as a result of environmental waste mismanagement. And through the recycling of the plant waste products and putting them back in the soil can be very beneficial in soil fertility and increase productivity (Morelli, 2011). In an attempt to sustain the waste management plans most of the humans have eradicated the used of plastic containers to prevent pollution, and there is the rapid switch from the use of processed foods to plant-based food which can be a great move in the waste management plans.
A sustainable future is where individuals or the population can satisfy their own needs or requirement without necessarily compromising the ability of the future generation to do the same. Agriculture plays an essential part in the survival of all people, and to promote it. It is advisable to shop at the community-supported systems since the support of the community farmers increases economic productivity. Pollut6ants constitute a significant problem in the attainment of a sustainable environment, and such significant effect should be put in place to protect the water catchment areas and the marine bodies as they play a vital part in the future of all humankind. Energy efficiency measures should be considered; renewable energy should be emphasizing in an attempt to reduce the bio-print and minimize the causes of global warming.
