I would recommend this article to inform professional practice. The article has identified 8 themes that are crucial to learning in nursing. It then follows that instructing these elements in nursing students achieves good professional skills in nursing. For example, the article identifies collaborative learning and calls for group work which is essential I molding inter-professional collaboration. The article advocates for a researcher thinking which involves research-based learning, questioning, and reinforcement of curiosity who are the foundational elements of scientific inquiry. The article has also placed emphasis on intellectual and practical independence. Preference for a practical and actual environment for the development of skills nurture critical thinking. Independence learning is brought by a learner's reflective thought. Though a nurse working environment calls for consultation, an independent mind is crucial in decision making and reasoning. The article has dug further into the 8 themes and how they can enhance learning and practice in nursing.

Having located the article, I would look at whether it has been written by a scholar through searching the author's credentials or affiliated societies or institutions (Angelo State University, 2019). Then I check whether the article is centered on professional practice. Moreover, I would determine whether the article has a clear structure of length, formatting or headings that indicate it is a scientific research study. The language of the article should also be formal and should be characterized by an argumentative and logical tone with many citations to published research that support its claims. In analyzing the article, I would check the reliability of the results, whether the conclusion makes sense and whether the article has a significant contribution to similar studies.
Two strategies that I found to be effective in finding peer-reviewed research is verifying that it has been published inside of an academic or scholarly journal. Moreover, in the website where the article has been published there mainly exist an "Aims and Scope" that gives the primary purpose of the article as either to publish new knowledge, provide news and information relevant to professional practice or entertain, persuade or inform (Gonnella, 1980). The other effective strategy is just examining the outward look of the article- structure of length, formatting or headings. The outward appearance is a quick method of sorting out many articles.
