This degree will be of great help in developing my professional skills and well as boosting my skills and expertise in my career and a manager.

I also have the desire to attain a higher professional role that grants me more income. Academic Experience

I have an undergraduate degree in business administration, and I have been in school since 2014 undertaking a master's program in business administration. Based on my professional goals to advance my career path, I intend to enroll for a doctorate in business administration. My education experience is therefore in line to this program that I am applying for the Walden University.

Research Experience

I have 3 years' experience in research. Through both the undergraduate and the postgraduate programs, I have done some a research papers in my field. This has given me a chance to expand my skills, knowledge, and experience in research. More importantly, I have presented my thesis which required extensive research to gain the insights presented by other researchers on the same topic. By analyzing the various literature in articles, journals, and books, I was able to gain an understanding of research as a significant tool in identifying a problem and designing possible solutions to these problems. The experience is vital in my career as a manager as it will help in identifying and solving any business problems that I may face while practicing my skills and professional in my job.

Work/Other Experience

I am currently working as an intern at the human resource department. The experience has provided me a chance to practice my skills and knowledge that I have gained through my undergraduate and masters programs on the business administration field. I am also a retiree where I previously worked for the Navy for 27 years.

I am a goal oriented person who is positive in achieving both my professional and personal goals. I am an optimist such that I always expect positive outcomes in all my undertakings and positive results always drive me. I am also creative since most of my tasks require thinking used the box, and therefore I have to employ critical thinking to devise strategies to complete my tasks successfully. I am also a social person who is aware of self-control and emotional awareness while interacting with people. However, I am working on developing my emotional intelligence in a manner that helps in developing strong relationships with people around me. I am also resilience, honest, and self-disciplined person who is always ready t take new tasks with the aim of achieving the set targets. I am conscious of my action and ensure that I act according to the set rules and guidelines that govern my tasks. This ensures that I not only contribute towards my personal, professional development but also in the general productivity of the organization and my colleagues as well.
