They include homeschooling, attending a public school or a private school. They offer different needs of the learners; thus the reason why learners have the opportunity to choose the best option for their children. Public schooling is the best system of education since it is cost-effective since the state funds them, and gives children a more diversified environment compared to private and homeschooling.

Public Schooling

Public schools are the best since the state funds such institutions. In public schools, parents do not pay tuition fees since it is the responsibility of the government to provide resources required to run the institutions. Since the institutions are free, parents coming from low-income backgrounds afford to educate their children (Gross, 2018). As a result of the funding, there are adequate resources for the children like textbook, facilities and visual aids to support children with special needs and they do not pay for these services compared to private or homeschooling.

Additionally, public schools have many students compared to private and home schools as a result of free education. They accommodate children from all backgrounds due to the cost factor. For example, not all immigrants in the US afford to take their children to private schools. Therefore, public schools offer the best learning environment as a result of diversity; thus exposing children to other cultures and races improving their educational experience (Gross, 2018). Therefore, student diversity in public schools creates the learning environment enjoyable. However, the high population in public schools makes it challenging for the teachers to provide one-on-one support.

Private School

A private school, on the other hand, offer small class sizes demonstrating that teachers can provide one-on-one support to students. As a result, it makes the system effective compared to public schools; hence it is likely to provide the best academic results (Russo, 2013). Secondly, the learning system in private schools is flexible to meet the diversified needs of the students since they pay to get an education. For example, administrations involve students in planning, and they have the opportunity to express their religions since they get funding from private sources and tuition from students. Therefore, they offer flexible educational services.

However, the school size is small compared to public schools; hence the funding is little. Therefore, the students, and parents have limited choices of electives compared to public schools. Also, they limit sporting activities because of the limited funding suggesting that they must scrap off some activities to sustain their operations (Russo, 2013). As a result, they hinder some students nurturing their talents due to limited financial resources. Unlike in public school, their teachers do not necessarily possess a degree, but they can meet the requirements accredited by the board unlike in the public schools.

Homeschooling

It is the form of schooling where students acquire education at their homes. It is legal in some parts of the world including the US and the UK. Among the concerns prompting parents to opt for homeschooling include lack of curriculum satisfaction. However, it has limited population compared to public and private schools. Homeschooling supports one-on-one teaching. Average size of a class in the US is 19 and 35, but there is one-on-one interaction between teachers and the students. Teachers are always available to help students in all the subjects thus improving the academic performance of students. As a result of this, teachers understand the fundamental needs of the students, and provide essential support (Gaither, 2016). It offers flexible learning schedules than public and private schools. There is rush against time in public and private schools, but homeschooling provides flexible plans that meet the needs of the teacher and the student. However, not many people can afford it since it is expensive about the career of the students. The parents do not pay tuition fees or transport, but parents have to put their careers aside and concentrate on how to educate the child. Also, it hinders access to a diversified learning environment and limited activities to nurture their talents compared than in public or private schools.

In this regard, public schooling is the best educational system since it is free making it affordable to many students from different backgrounds. There is diversification in the public schools since the government funds all public schools making it accessible to many students from different financial backgrounds (Gross, 2018). Further, there is diversity in public schools exposing students to different worldviews; thus developing their thinking skills. Therefore, public schooling is the best option.

A public school is the best option because it nurtures the talents of the students; it is cost-effective, and promotes diversity in the learning system. However, it hinders one-on-one teaching compared to homeschooling while private schools have relatively smaller classes.
