Introduction

United States of America is now the superpower as it sits on the summit internationally concerning the alliance's network, which was put into place by the affected countries during the cold war times. As it is known, the case of partnerships has not been the case for the United States of America as earlier on, and it benefited from the connections as a junior partner. We get to know that the success of the United States originated from the treaty/alliance which was formed between the U.S and the French republic, the country which the U.S fought in the undeclared war, which was known as (Quasi-War of 1798).

Truth is evident when the president of the United States of America George Washington put a warning to his countrymen by saying that, "entangle our peace and prosperity in the toils of European ambition," this was later seen as a warning to the country from involving itself from foreign entanglement,( Bell, Clay, & Martinez Machain, 2017).. George Washington put an urge on his country by telling them to take advantage since his country was geographically as well as politically isolated from the world threats. Washington set the conclusion that since the country is so powerful like the likes o Great Britain, it should be able to make its own decision. It means that that country should be free to select when to engross in the war and hen not to.

Americans treaty with the republic of French forced it to engage in the war as a force to the French when Great Britain launched the attack towards French. The likes of Thomas Jefferson and James Madison were in a strong argument that the United States of America should join the war since it signed a treaty with France to fulfill its treaty obligations, ( Howorth, 2019). George Washington was aware that the likes of Great Britain had renewed forces. He didn't want to involve himself in the war in fear of ravaging the U.S trade and setting his executive on fire.

The new president urged that his country (U.S.A) lacked the military power to deliver the promise of the treaty they signed with France, and the cost of joining France in the war with Great Britain was too high of which it could earn no benefit to the American. Considering the Britain forces and those of America and the geographical distance from France to America, which was too large, America pulled out itself, (Murphy 2019). Latter America and Great Britain concluded that there would be no official military treaty during the 19th era. American new president could disengage himself from the war whereby, he found that America would only join the fight or any friendship depending on its interest. He could not see any essential military treaties, whereas the dedicated group can achieve its objectives without them.

The United States of America had faced some challenges during the cold war. By putting this into consideration, it believed of a cooperative security forum in the nations which were considered as united, United Nations, (Walt 2018). Taccorded, with its primary aim of being a democratic nation and also found it as a way of clearing the differences. Through the emergence of the U.N under the leadership of the United States of America, it was realized to be a very high power setting on the Security Council.

Conclusion

In conclusion, we get to understand that treaties are there so that the members involved could have a collective goal in which they fight toward achieving by combining their potentials. May it be a military force, may it be economical as long as it meets success. What may differ is what these alliances are instituted.
