United States decided to bomb Japan during the world war two in 1945 using the most dangerous weapons ever made. Japan was their opponents in the war and brought a lot of threat to the United State military. United States dropped the first atomic bomb which they referred as the little boy on Hiroshima. This caused very massive destruction and very many Japanese lost their lives but they never opted for a surrender. They decided to continue with the fight though United States seemed stronger than them since they were the only country with atomic bomb. Atomic bomb is the most powerful weapon to ever exist with very massive explosion which come from nuclear reactions. After three days US army dropped another bomb in Japan but now on a different city called Nagasaki. This time round the bombing was greater than the first one and they referred it as the fat man. This is the bombing that led to the end of the world war since Japan surrendered and decided to withdraw from the war. Several events both negative and positive occurred after US army bombed Nagasaki and Hiroshima in 1945.

US army were not sure of the effects that would results from the atomic bombing. The only thing that they knew is that the explosion would be very massive. Everyone thought that the cities where the bombs were dropped would end up being nuclear waste fields, where no life would be supported, even plants or even animals and human beings. The radiation effect stayed for quite some time but now the effect is quite low and now the area is considered safe for human survival. The decision of bombing the area was not a wise decision. It could have been better if the people using this type of weapon were aware of the consequences but not just to use it blindly.

Atomic bombing of Japanese cities, Nagasaki and Hiroshima was not worth. It caused a lot of health problems including leukemia, anemia, cataracts and keloids increased. The radiations lead to the cancer of most body parts but mostly blood tissue, leukemia. Leukemia was the deadliest and long-lasting side effect of the bombing. This effect hit the pick at around 1950 when the cases shoot by greatest merges. Other type of cancers that experienced a significant increase were lung cancer, thyroid cancer and breast cancer. Women were the ones on high risk of contracting these cancers. Lung cancer was linked with the bombing later at around 1972. It was believed that everyone who had been exposed to the nuclear radiations were three times at risk of contracting cancers. The number of people suffering anemia increased significantly after the bombing. Anemia is a condition where the blood become unable of creating enough red blood cells. This effect lasted for around ten years. Cataracts is a condition in which the lens of the eye get deformed and the patient is not able to see clearly. Age and distance to the bombing site were the factors that led to the developing of the cataracts. At around mid-1950, several survivors were screened at Hiroshima hospital and quite a good number of survivors turned positive for this condition. Out of this number, around half of all the patients were within the radius of two kilometers of the place where the blast occurred. Keloid is a scar that is healing but heals too much that it even surpasses the normal healing and ends up causing an abnormal growth.

Atomic bombing of the Japanese cities led to the ending of the great war. This war had been fought for six years and still it showed no signs of ending soon. All the participants were still strong after all this time of fighting especially Japan, US and Russia. The war could have even proceeded for more years if it were not of this atomic bombing. This cause can be argued to have affected the war on the positive way. War is not a good thing so if there is something that is making it come to an end can be said to have helped somehow though the bombing brought a lot of destruction and loss.

Atomic bombing led to a handful of birth complications. After the bomb blast occurred in Japanese cities, Japan showed an increased rate of infants and neonatal deaths. The survey that was conducted revealed that most pregnant women were got exposed to the radiations within a radius of two kilometers from the bomb blast, every one child out of four babies born by the survivors of the atomic bombing had cognitive disabilities. They suffered both physical and development retarded growth while some were born with microcephaly. Microcephaly is a condition in which the child is born with head being smaller than the normal size.

Bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima resulted to a lot of consequences. This bombing effected the fight both on the positive and negative way. Negative consequences out weighed the positive consequence by a great merge. Bad effects were many and long lasting since most of them tampered with the health of the victims. US was not worth to use atomic bombs on their opponents, Japan, since they were not conversant with the end results.
