An individual may deceive oneself by thinking that holidays are just for mental wellbeing. One can replenish the overall health and welfare by having a break from regular activities simply because vacations also have an impact on both physical and emotional fitness. I agree with the argument that San Francisco is indeed a vacation destination worth visiting. Investing in holidays in the same destination year after year is monotonous and hence the need for people to seek new experiences that satisfy their adventurous desires.

San Francisco is among the beautiful cities in the United States. It is along the ocean, surrounded by hills and the exemplary Golden Gate Bridge. The town has excellent parks, coastlines, museums, and other entertainment preferences. Some of the unique attractions that the writer describes are the Fisherman's Wharf, fantastic restaurants, and the incredible Pacific Ocean. Others include San Francisco's Chinatown and the Golden Gate Park.

Additionally, there are various reasons which make San Francisco an exciting vacation destination that offers an excellent experience for vacationers. The first site is the Fisherman's Wharf which is known for its attractive setting along the waterfront, shops and the cafeterias. The historical exhibition in the semblance of a medieval dungeon, the wax museum and the Ripley's Believe it or Not, found in the Wharf are indeed out of the ordinary. There are odd items such as the three-legged man, funky scares and themed galleries to name just a few. There is also a floating museum, USS Pampanito, a retired WWII submarine and the Pier 45. It is not advisable for claustrophobic people and those having a tough time getting around tight spaces because it is close fit inside. Fisherman's Wharf is a great place to walk around and get a feel of the city.

The second destination is the Pacific Ocean where people may be involved in a variety of activities in and out of the water. These activities include sailing, use of motorboats, viewing of classic cars, model ships, artifacts and paintings among others. Site seeing could be done in Maritime National Historical Park displaying Balclutha and Eureka, Alcatraz Island and the Golden Gate, all of which one can access via the Pacific Ocean.

The dining experience in San Francisco is remarkable; offering a wide range of savory and delicious options. The different cuisines include traditional Mandarin, Szechuan and Hunan fare, Italian, Cambodian, Laotian, Burmese, Indian, California and Russian delicacies.

The best time of the year to visit San Francisco is from September to December because of the warm weather and the fewer crowds mainly because people tend to have holidays during summer compared to fall seasons. A rise in the number of people leads to escalating theft: people should be careful with their belongings. Weather forecast helps in planning appropriately on clothing.

It is possible to stay in San Francisco for weeks but still not experience everything. I can apparently agree with the argument that San Francisco is a great vacation destination. One of the best things about a holiday at San Francisco is that, although the city is composed of many attractions and facilities, it is geographically small (about 49 square miles) and one can tour around within a short period if in a hurry.
