Introduction

There is an excellent relationship between the aspects of psychology and theology, and this is based on God's work in the world and the workings of God's world. Theology dramatically focuses on the operations of God in the world while psychology, on the other hand, brings about the ideas of the jobs of God's world. The implications of psychology and theology show that there is a significant connection between Christianity beliefs and the things that take place in the world. Entwistle did some excellent work in trying to elaborate more about these two aspects and mainly concentrated on the way these two aspects are related to each other.

Discussion

According to theology, which explains the workings of God in the world, Christians believe that God is the originator of everything that exists in the world that people live in. This includes all the living and non-living things that exist. In this regard, God commands a great honor and adoration by all the creatures he made (Entwistle, 2015). Apart from the creation, the same God is the one who still controls how each and everything he created stays in the world. For example, he is the one who still holds the lives of all the living creatures he made, and thus, he is an omnipotent God, omniscient, and omnipresent.

Theology always explains the various ways in which God as the creator of all the things in the world worked to make sure that he brought them into existence and the order which was followed in the achievement of all these. Through this theology and the workings of God in the world, Christians can understand various aspects of God (Stevenson, 2007). This ranges from the characteristics and or attributes of God, and this comes from the great and mighty things that he was able to bring about.

On the other hand, psychology is all about what people perceive in their mind about the workings of God's world. This means that the main focus is on what takes place within the world and between all the things that exist (Stevenson, 2007). Psychology is more out of the beliefs of Christians and their faith because it is found even in non-believers. However, because there is the belief that there was a God who made everything, there is a clear understanding that even these non-believers trust that things in the world can work well with the control of God.

According to the many teachings of psychology and those of theology, there is an interconnection in that they are all based on God and that without God, there would be no the world and everything that lives in it. Therefore, before the aspects of psychology come in, theology comes in first to show how God's workings in the world are (Entwistle, 2015). After that, psychological aspects then go in there to show how Christians believe that jobs of God's world are and this is in response to what God commanded during creation. God's world works to show respect and honor to him, and the workings are as God himself planned.

Conclusion

Theology and psychology share a lot when it comes to the explanations of some issues about the world and spirituality. However, there is a need also to understand that beyond this point, there exists some significant diversity of the two. Christian psychology is essential in theological matters because it helps them have a clear understanding of God and all that he is associated with by human beings in the world.
