Introduction
To end the war, we need to make the Axis Powers to surrender from the war. The recent battles such as that of Iwo Jima and Okinawa have shown the strength that our military has to strike hard and make the countries allied to the Axis Powers to surrender from the war. In the recent events, the battle at Iwo Jima, more than 21,000 Japanese soldiers were involved in the confrontation. The ensuing battle at this island lasted for more than five weeks, and only about 200 Japanese soldiers survived. We captured 216 soldiers most of whom were badly injured while others were unconscious. However, we lost almost 7000 soldiers in this war, but we had a resounding victory against the Axis powers. We have also had a plan for this war, which if implemented, we can be able to end the war. The plan dubbed Operation Downfall, which the members of the meeting have allowed us to continue working on is a plan in which we are working to invade Japan, we plan on executing this plan if we Japan does not surrender from the war anytime soon. The project is divided into two parts, Operation Coronet, and Operation Olympic. Through the Operation Olympic, we aim at capturing the Southernmost part of Japan and consolidate it with the Okinawa island which we recently captured so that they can act as a staging station for the major Operation Coronet. Through Operation Coronet, we will be able to invade areas near Tokyo and on the island of Honshu.
The committee has also recommended the use of the Manhattan Gadget in the war. By your authorization, Mr. President, I believe that we can be able to make Japan and the other Axis powers surrender from the war. The Manhattan Gadget is the atomic bomb which was being developed from a project referred to as the Manhattan Project. Dropping the atomic bomb in Japan would have adverse impacts on the country which I believe will make them surrender from the war. We need to act faster on this project because the Manhattan Project plant has been taking up most of the country's resources and we need to direct more funds towards improving the lives of the citizens of the country. Statistics have shown that more than 16 million Americans have been served in the war, either directly or indirectly, this means that the war has had far-reaching impacts on the lives of the citizens and not only the soldiers. The estimated number of military deaths is 407,300 soldiers; this is a large number which will mean that the country loses a lot in the war.
Conclusion
To end this was quickly and avoid the losses which are associated with the war, you need to authorize the use of the Manhattan Gadget; this means that we have to invade Japanese territories so that we can end the war. Even after the battles which we have won over the Axis powers, it is still clear that they are not ready to surrender and end the war. The only option which is viable right now to end this war and make sure that the country does not lose a lot of resources in the battle is to invade Japan and make them surrender.
