The reason for choosing this poem is due to the way the poet has used stylistic devices such as repetition and alliteration. The poem also is based on a real story which makes it suit my thesis. Having gone through the poem, the reader can get the meaning of the composition of the song. The poet also can master the use of language that makes him able to communicate his message.
From the start of the poem, the poet begins to narrate a story about the lady who had problems that were increasing daily. The poem has a clear understanding of the normal occurrences in life. The poem talks about the things that people are getting through in life. The poet also creates a mood that draws the attention of the reader. The poem also ends in giving hope to the woman in problems after being neglected by her lover. No matter the challenges that the lady faced, the poet still looks to the future to have great things. The poem also narrates the story by creating a picture in the mind of the reader hence making it the best choice among other poems. The tone of the poem is also low and is visible to the people reading the poem. The poem also has indirect questions that the poet asks the person reading the poem.
The poet also talks about the beautiful children of the woman who makes her have hope for the future. They have a future which is bright and makes it have a clear understanding of the issues that children have as they grow from humble families (Murray 67). The poet states that the children will thrive even though they have problems. This makes meaning especially to those who are from humble backgrounds. Unlike many poems which are limited to the fun, this one has a story that is inspiring the people who are reading it.
The main points made in the essay is that poems should always have a meaning and a message that is being communicated. The poems also should be able to create the mood and attract the attention of the reader. The poem also acts as advisor to the people who might read it. The poem is also short hence it is not boring to the reader (Griffith 89). This poem has an end that is hopeful, and the reader is not left hanging though it creates a lot of suspense from the beginning.
The essay can be revised through proofreading to ensure that all mistakes are removed. The essay narrates what the poet wants the reader to hear. The poet seems to have compassion for the woman (Griffith 45). The reader also can understand all that the poem has inside and can relate to the issues that the woman was getting through.
The reader of the essay should be able to understand that the Park Poem is about the issues a woman faced though neglected by the people who were dear to her. The poet is narrating a real-life story and things that happen in our day to day life. Therefore, by reading this poem, any reader can get the meaning and the rich use of the stylistic devices used in the poem even before reading it.
