Who inspires me?

Nicki Minaj is one individual who has had significant inspiration in my life for the past couple of years that I have known her. She has gotten mentioned as one of the best female rappers not only in America but in the entire world. Why then could she be an inspiration to me? I believe your guess could be as good as mine. How have they changed my life?

It could not be tangible, but I firmly believe that in many ways, Nicki Minaj has changed my life. First of all, it is quite motivating to see a female do quite well in a field that has been believed to be for men. Rapping is a career that over time has been dominated by men and as a result, a female figure rising to break such odds is just an inspiration, and this is a reason I feel she has changed my life. According to me, life is all about how you view the things around you, and from the success story of Nicki Minaj and even the things that she continues to do, my view of the capabilities that I have has significantly changed and therefore my life. She has changed my life in several ways. From her personality traits, I have come to learn several things about success and determination. Nicki Minaj does not care what others say behind her back, but instead, she has always kept moving and ignored all that her haters say behind her. I have learned not to give much attention to what others say about me as this would only slow me or instead stop me from achieving my goals. Giving too much energy to others deprive you of the power that you need to work on your success. She has also changed my life by learning about commitment, determination, and hard work. From Nicki Minaj's story and experience, I have come to realize that nothing is impossible and that it only calls for an individual to change their mindset to realize the great things ahead of them. It is a fact that I have come to learn from how Nicki does her stuff; she has been able to overcome judgment and criticism from several individuals by merely being who she is. She is one person who is true to herself and who you can never influence out of what she believes is right.

What makes this person so inspirational to me?

According to me, I feel that Nicki Minaj is way much more than just a rapper. She is a woman who is independent, strong, successful, and confident, and these are qualities she has not used for her gain but instead paving the way for other female rappers. Looking at her from the outside, one can easily deem her as an improbable role model from her music that is sexually explicit. However, it is important to note that there are much to learn from Nicki Minaj than just what meets our eyes. For social injustice and feminism, it is incredible what Nicki Minaj has done, and this surpasses what her peers have done, and for this reason, she is an inspiration in the making, and we are so grateful for that. There were a few occasions when Nicki Minaj had a touch on me, and they include the following. Firstly, when she emphasized the importance of higher education. During one of her concerts, Nicki Minaj said: "I could not go to college so if you have the opportunity, go to college and forget these little boys out here who are trying to get in your pants." That was an inspirational line from her, and the reason as to why I like it is because she knows she how much influence she is to the youth and by putting the message out there, she probably was going to change a life. Secondly, another reason as to why Nicki Minaj is inspirational to me is how she pushes female empowerment in and out of her music. Some of her songs such as "Want Some More," "Feeling Myself," and "Only" among others, are feminist lyrics which have self-empowerment mostly to the ladies. She clearly stated that she is a boss and that she does not only do what she wants but also excels in it.

Is your life better because of them? In what way?

I can confidently claim that my life is better to some degree because of Nicki Minaj. Through her positive messages, I have learned the importance of being independent through hard work and determination. My passion of becoming a rapper also now seems much achievable as I try to relate whatever she has been through and compare the potential in me and that in her before she was where she is now. Through her, I feel motivated, and every time I listen to her songs, there is the feeling of greatness that overwhelms me and makes me imagine that it could be me. Life is all about motivation, and this is what I have acquired from Nicki Minaj, and as a result, I must confidently submit that my life has dramatically changed.

Does this person influence your goals?

Everything is all about this - my goals of becoming an icon in the music industry and more specifically as a rapper has been made to appear more realistic through the inspiration that I have acquired from Nicki. Dating back, I can also admit that my reason for always wanting to be a rapper is as a result of Nicki as I started listening to her songs since I was young. She is the reason as to why I have always wanted to be a musician, and I firmly believe this is a dream that I will achieve given the kind of motivation that I have acquired from her and that I am still receiving up to date. I keep learning new things every day from Nicki, and I believe a time will come when I will be set to enter the music industry, and when this time comes, I will give all my credits to Nicki. She is and will always remain to be an inspiration to me.
