For the universe in the 1990s, it is believed to have been full of matter, and it is the irresistible force of gravity that had the matter pulled together. Later in the 1998 observations from the Hubble Space Telescope proved the slowness of the expansion of the universe unlike it is today. However, most people perceived this slowness in expansion were caused by gravity, but it was not the case; indeed the world was accelerating. Hence theorists after discoveries developed explanations, but yet no reason is correct thus have settled with the solution of Dark Energy. This paper aims to give insights on observations that concluded dark energy existed, its properties and assumptions there is in dark energy to the evolution of the universe.
Researchers have hypothesized dark energy to exist by exploiting models that have since given observations of the space. From most scientists, the dark energy properties that resulted in the conclusion it existed were the cosmological constant and the general relativity equation by Einstein. According to Einstein in the field of equation, it was one property that led to a static universe that used dark energy in balancing gravity and after that had his idea thrown out.it gave proposals that dark energy was an intrinsic space filled uniformly thereby seen as a scalar field. Alternatively, the effect is that it exerted pervasive pressure causing matter blowing apart at a rate that's accelerated. Another observation made by researchers to show dark matter existed is from one believe that dark matter is composed of properties comprising weakly interacting massive particles (Kallosh & Linde, 2003). Such bodies would make interactions by weak forces and gravity creating claims that dark matter does not make atoms since it lacks electric charge. Around 1970, Vera Rubin made studies to quantify the existence of dark matter by use of a spectrograph that had a sensitivity which is enhanced and improved. In this case, to make the difference dark matter had to be invoked that is even from detection of neutrinos thus resulting in the non-interactive material eluding most researchers. Consequently, it became acceptable that most galaxies than the visible variety had more dark matter with other instances like Globular clusters which appeared to not containing dark matter. From the theories, there is it seemed likely in future; various observations will have to be conducted to ascertain the nature of this elusive concept of Dark Energy.
The existence of dark energy implies the evolution of the universe as it is what governs it and this needs an understanding of the dark equation. Cosmologists sought desperately to discover the critical properties in dark energy particularly its strength, any variation with direction and its permanence (Kallosh & Linde, 2003). Studies have proven that if dark energy dominates the energy balance in the universe, then that implies an acceleration of the current expansion of space to continue. As a result have structures not bound gravitationally, in the end, fly apart, in turn, the Milky Way and the Earth remaining undisturbed with the other part of the universe appearing to be running away from the people. Dark energy existence from observations has proven to be all over the space which depends on the expansion of the universe. However, still, only various views coming up can ultimately demonstrate that existing dark energy suggests the universe evolution.
Conclusion
In conclusion, some scientists observations have proven the existence of dark energy and its properties however what is known is less but what is unknown is more thus the need for more discoveries that can further expound on the dark energy existence that suggests the fate of the Universe.
