The physical world will have people being born as rich in rich countries and poor in developing countries, due to the bad and good sides of the human nature (Schmidt and Cohen 2). For some people, a digital connection will be their way of being heard, counted on and taken seriously, resulting in authoritative governments finding the newly connected populations hard to repress, control and influence. The world is committed to a growth in the economy that will ensure more people are fed, clothed, employed and educated (Lanier 108). The economy has to reach a point where it will supply a limitless consumption to each person. With good connectivity, the digital word will help most individuals to succeed while working together. While these devices are still in there early development stages, it is quite interesting to note that they will make life easier and better. In the virtual world, everyone will have a chance to choose what is best for them and what greatness will mean to them. With the growth of the internet, we have seen how people, institutions, and companies have been able to feel depths of technological changes. The sources available have shown that the internet does not prevent people from connecting and talking to each other, as critics would suggest. These connections increase sociability, civic engagements, and friendship and family relationships across cultures.

The current networking society is the product of social, cultural changes and the digital revolution. Most social relationships are getting reformed by an individual's interests, values, and projects. The social networking sites are the preferred grounds for businesses, campaigns and socializing with others. Most marketers, governments and the civil societies are moving to the networks to construct and build themselves (Noe 236). The most exciting part of this connectivity will be sociopolitical practices. Texts will not flow from the minority to the majority with little interactions. Most messages will flow to a larger group of people with more interactivity. Horizontal communication networks will provide great robust platforms for political and social changes. Looking at the current situation, online and social networks have enabled for a variety of social movements and more challenges to dictatorship powers.

While technology has changed the way, the world views things and has made life more comfortable, in the future, the ability of people thinking for themselves will deteriorate. It is within human nature to observe and apply shortcuts in life. As societies continue to depend more and more on technology, the ability for people to figure out their answers reduces. Most kids that have been directly influenced by technology are affected more than adults. These technology tools will change how children use their minds to solve problems. While the present generation can do many tasks at the same time, their ability to read books has already been altered by the current technology (Meikle 89). When children are born, their minds are bright, and they learn how to act. The society that is dependent on technology will face issues where, without it, there will be a lack of information. People will lose their ability to communicate face to face with each other. With connectivity, everything required can be found online. Most people might think that the society is social due to the great abundance of technological tools. The community is getting more and more depressed with people not talking to each other and depending on the internet to build connections that are not long term. Suicidal thoughts and bullying all result in the use of technological tools. It is hard to imagine that one day people might wake up and notice they dislike the way things are and yet, they cannot reverse time to make everything right. There is an increase in connectivity that has been facilitated by the permanent connectivity and social networking on websites, which s set to grow stronger as the years go by. Besides the political, cultural and economic advantages, is it vital to notice the challenges that the new connectivity will bring itself within the future, especially to the mental wellbeing of individuals, putting in mind that depression is already prevalent in the current society with the increase in the number of online social networks?
