Strategy

CDS's business strategy was advantageous to the organization's performance. Antonia came up with a plan of managing foodservice operations in senior living facilities (SLFs) in the United States by the provision of quality foods with fresh ingredients. His plan worked because the restaurant offered nutritious and quality food at the same existing budget of the SLFs.

Culture

At the time, Antonio adopted the culture commonly known as Antonio's way. It was a set of principles to live by while still at CDS. The restaurant maintained a culture of excellent customer service from the employees, quality food, and lower prices. The company also supported the learning of innovation n and grew their employees to their full potential Human resource culture was very dominant, and Antonio was always strict. It was hard for Antonio to dismiss an employee unless if the employee had bad attitude. Bad attitude was not tolerated at CDS

Human Resource

CDS human resource department adopted a pay-for-performance plan which advocated for continuous feedback, frequent recognition of employees, and offering training programs to improve and grow its employees.

Career progression plan was also a tool in CDS where managers were encouraged to identify employees to be promoted according to their drive to succeed without necessarily judging their current role. It encouraged employee development, which accelerated the retention rates, and employees had long-term engagements with the company due to job security.

PESTLE- G Factors at CDS

If I were one of the people working at CDS, I would be worried about technological, environmental, and legal PESTL-G factors.

Technological Factors

These relate to innovations in technology that are likely to affect the operations of CDS in the market. As much as constant changes were advocated in Antonio's way principles, it was not implemented at per with the competitors and technological advancement in the industry. It was a threat to CDS, especially in terms of competitors who had a competitive advantage over CDS in terms of technological advancement.

Environmental Factors

It would be my biggest worry. CDS relies on fresh ingredients, unlike its competitors, who are dependent on the canned ones. In case of any changes in climatic changes or occurrence of natural disasters, then that means these fresh foods will be scarce. It will majorly affect the CDS market since it's the new foods that the company produced that motivated and attracts the client.

Legal Factors

In case of any potential legislative changes by the government to scrap off the SLFs, then it would have a significant impact on CDS performance and operations. The fact that CDS has not diversified its market across all institutions like its competitors who have ventured into hospitals and schools, such a change in legislation would hit it profoundly. It would affect income, probably leading to other desperate measures such as a decrease of employees or even closure of the business.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Calveta Dining Services, Inc has a great and useful organizational design that is all around from employee welfare, to customer service and the company operations. By maintaining the culture of adhering to and following this organization design, the company is likely to stay at the top against the competitors. Additionally, the company should keep reviewing the PESTL-G factors and set necessary risk management strategies.
