Recent reports show that most of the population in the Mississipi earnings are below the poverty line and this is a clear indication that it is challenging to afford three daily meals leave alone health foods and this is one of the causes of obesity in kids (Dietz et al., 2018). Due to a high level of unemployment, it is also difficult to afford healthy foods, and so the goal of the program is to ensure that they drive the governments and organizations to create employment opportunities in the county to allow people to get earnings which will enable them to afford healthy meals. They come up with strategies and measures that fight obesity and overweight among children, and this is done in schools in the United States (Gomez et al ., 2018). Physical activities are a significant co-curriculum activity, and every student is required to participate in these activities. The environment is also a vital part in health issues, and so the policies enacted in the community should allow health lifestyle at all costs and the education sector should provide people with topics on a healthy lifestyle (Hild & Gallagher, 2018).

The Child Obesity Intervention programme is doing an excellent job in fighting the kid's obesity, but for these programmes to be implemented, every member of the society should take their roles responsibly. The most important way to achieve the agenda against obesity is by eating changing our food and physical environment. Good policies plus healthy environment together with health behaviors will result in healthy people.
