Introduction
Diapers come in different brands with a purpose of allowing urination and, or defecation by the babies without using the toilet. According to Srinivas and Dhar (2016), smart disposable diapers have been developed through innovation. Absorption and containment of the waste products prevent the soiling of the baby's outer clothing or exterior environment. Regular changing of a diaper is required after soiling to avoid skin rashes as babies’ skin is sensitive. Pampers is one of the quality and diaper brands across the world. It is affordable and accessible in the interiors. Besides, a study by Steenkamp (2017), stated that pampers are among the most trusted diapers brands by mothers.
Babies' Care
Parents (mothers) should consider the Pampers diaper since it is essential to first-time mothers with babies aged zero-three years to ensure babies' care and healthy development. In a Pampers diaper, the outer part (back sheet) contains breathable film with soft like fibre that helps prevent leakage to the baby's clothes and bedding. The inner part (core) contains a super absorbent gel that absorbs liquid to prevent it from wetting the baby's skin. There is no usage of dyes in pampers to avoid allergenic reactions; some non-allergenic pigments are used and are safe to baby's skin. Pigments Pampers consist of soft and breathable materials providing comfort to the baby when playing or sleeping during the day, providing the best absorption skin protection.
Baby’s Health
Pampers diapers are fragrance-free, and hypoallergenic maintain the baby’s health and skin protection. Also, it comes in different sizes according to the baby's growth, fitting babies well and soft for the new-born babies; the cord is considered as the pampers are designed with a space cut-out for the belly button. New-borns put on size number one that ensures the baby's cord is not in contact. Whatsoever, Kaoje et al. (2018), elucidated that a diaper not getting into contact with a new-born’s cord hastens healing. Mothers can move to the next size in their purchase. Pampers offer discounts to clients to promote and appreciate them for their loyalty (Michel, 2017). Discounts and promotions are observed in the markets and supermarkets. During such times, mothers should consider buying in bulk to reduce the cost in the future. If the baby’s weight is increasing, consider buying the next size to avoid inconvenience. Regular diaper change reduces the chance of diaper rash in babies. Also, coupons are provided for the parents who cannot afford where the costs are reduced. Promotions on Pampers encourage more buyers on the product (Mariya, 2019). The free coupons are found on the internet, newspapers, and parenting magazines. Visiting online stores enables delivery at the door-steps. In case of a diaper rash, mothers have to ensure the baby’s skin is dry and clean; with home care, diaper rash vanishes within two to three days as it is the best treatment. Otherwise, if a baby has a bacterial or fungal infection, oral antibiotics or fungal cream should be applied.
Choice
Mothers have a choice on the type of pampers diaper they would like to put on their babies. For instance, Pampers baby dry, Pampers Swaddlers, pampers cruises, and pampers sensitive are some of the Pampers versions. Pampers bay-dry is the most commonly used diaper; it has a standard design. Moreover, pampers tape diapers and pampers pants diapers are available. The tape Pampers suit babies who are one to six months while pampers pants suit babies learning to crawl, are crawling, or those walking. The Pampers pants are changeable where fathers and older babies can change in mother’s absentia. The pants have an elastic band around the waist and legs that are flexible and soft; the child is comfortable, no pressure. Essentially they are hygienic and maintain baby bottom dryness for a long time. Decent comfort of a baby while on a Pampers brings happiness to both the child and the mother (Maijerink, 2019).
Moreover, comfortability ensures wearing is easy, fewer leaks, and easy for babies to move around. An appropriate diaper for the baby reduces leakages; therefore, mothers should choose the fitting size to their young ones. Swaddlers' sensitive pampers and pampers pure protection are hypoallergenic and gentle to baby’s sensitive skin but pampers pure protection diapers do not contain fragrance, allowing mothers to choose the best for their babies. Pampers pure protection have no fragrance, parabens, latex, or chlorine-bleaching; they have a wetness indicator.
Conclusion
The pampers adverts on the screens, magazines, and the photographs on the Pampers wrappers of mothers with babies with diapers on and in a happy mood signify a mother's caring nature to a new-born and the emotions attached to it. Mothers pay attention to photographs of babies sleeping on the Pampers wrappers since some feelings are spark once a young woman sees a child. The baby in the advertisement is deep asleep in the middle of the night, enough evidence that, with Pampers on, the child spends a peaceful night without distractions. Equally, a baby's quiet night is a mother's silent night. The use of different adverts to different types of pampers is appealing to the mothers. The use of a mother and a child creates emotions, attention, and care to the advert. Mothers are trustworthy, and seeing one on an advert means she has tested the quality of the Pampers, encouraging other mothers to get the brand. The adverts and photographs are shreds of evidence to the mothers that Pampers is an excellent, trustworthy, and quality diaper brand.
