Acts 1-2
Jesus told his disciples that they will receive the Holy Spirit and thereafter he ascended to Heaven. The believers assemble at Pentecost and they were filled with Holy Spirit. When Peter was talking to the crowd he told them that they had sacrificed Jesus but God made Him Lord. More than 3000 believers were ready to replace Judas and be the disciples of Jesus.
Acts 3-6
In their mission, Peter and John healed a lame man who was at the temple and he told the people gathered there that it is the faith in Jesus that had healed the man and that they should repent their sins. When they were taken before the rulers, Peter and John said that they will not stop talking about Jesus and the believers stated praying with boldness. In chapter 5 the book tells us that Ananias and Sapphira told a lie and they fell down and die. The Angel released the Apostles from prison and the Gamaliel man advised the rulers to leave the Apostles alone. When the disciples were feeding the crowd they asked seven men to help them distribute the food. Some of them from synagogue had some dispute with Stephen and they took him to the council.
Acts 7-9
Stephen was stoned and killed even after he told them that they are killing the righteous ones. Philip preached about Christ in Samaria. He baptized the magician Simon and many people were impressed with Philip teaching. Saul sent for the arrest of all the believers. Jesus appeared to him and asked him why he was prosecuting Him Christ. Soul was then baptized his name was changed and he began preaching the gospel of Christ. Peter in this chapter raised Dorcas.
Acts 10-15
Peter preached to Gentiles and the spirit fell. There are some people in Jerusalem who criticized peter. He said that the spirit had told him to go to Antioch where he preached and many believed. Saul and Barnabas were preaching here too. Herod killed James and arrested Peter and the church prayed a lot. The Angle appeared to Peter in prison and Herod was struck down by Angle. Paul and Barnabas were prosecuted because they were preaching the word of Christ. The crowd at Lustra had wanted to worship Paul, but they later stoned him. After their teaching here Paul and Barnabas returned to Antioch. Peter once said that "God gave spirit with no distinctions. And later in this chapter Paul and Barnabas separated.
Act 16-20
Paul took Timothy to teach with him, the baptized Lydia in Philippi and thereafter Paul was imprisoned. There was an earthquake in this area and later the jailer was baptized for the greatness he saw in Paul. The two taught in Thessalonica and Berea and in Athens Paul said, "I preach the God who gives life to all and one day He will judge the world." Paul also preached in Corinth for about a year and a half and he later went to Ephesus in the company of Priscilla and Aquila. Priscilla and Aquila then taught the Apollos. Paul got new disciples in Ephesus and he laid his hand on them and they received the Holy Spirit. Paul raised Eutychus after he fell from the window and encouraged the elders from Ephesian to care for the new believers of Christ.
Acts 21-28
Here Paul was warned not to step in Jerusalem but he said that he was ready to die. He was later arrested in the Temple but he claims that Jesus had sent him to preach to the Gentiles and the crowd threw dust on him. He later defended himself that he was a Roman citizen and this caused dissension between the Pharisees and the Sadducees. The Jews were plotting to k8ill him but the tribune sent him to Governor Felix where he was accused by Tertullus before Felix. Paul defended himself that he had simply gone to the Temple to worship but this could not prevent him as he was sent to prison for two years by Felix. Paul was later released and put in a house arrest after the king orders. This is because a storm struck Rome and all were lost. He healed all those who had diseases and proclaim the kingdom of God to all.
