Introduction
Primarily, art being a diverse range of human activities in auditory, creating visual, expressing, technical skills or imaginative with a sole intention of appreciating and expressing emotional power is a fundamental part of human life. Furthermore, art defines people's way of life; different ethnic groups involve themselves in one genre of art or another, for instance, curving, sculpturing, painting, music and even the language. Therefore, this paper underscores a critical discussion on the exemplary work of different veteran artist in the field of art and architecture.
Part One
The award-wining Jasper Johns to begin with, painted the famous white flag. Notably, white flag is not only the first largest Encaustic, oil and charcoal flag painting but also first the first monochromic rendering painting. He achieves the feature by draining most of the colors from the flag but leaving behind a subtle graduations of tones. The artist builds the enthusiastic artwork from three molten mixed with pigments and some touches of white oil surfaces adhered on stretched canvas.
On the other hand, Jaune Quick-to-See Smith a veteran artist, built acrylic, stylish and contemporary painting on canvas called The Rancher. Smith sought to reject the about the native people of north America using the Caitlin's work and prove that indigenous people can be traditional and contemporary simultaneously (Davies 20).
Japer's paint, the white flag is an example of mosaic asymmetrical meaning, dividing the painting into two won't give exact elements the paint in mad from decorated surfaces made from individual pieces with balanced visual weight. Conversely, Jaune Quick-to-see Smith's paint is a radical asymmetrical painting since it radiates elements from the canter and offers more virtual variety with complex relationship between the elements and unbalanced visual weight. Additionally, white flag is an Encaustic monochromic painting thus adhered with beeswax and composed of one color whereas, the Rancher is acrylic painting hence with many colors, a mixture of watercolors and oil (Davies 29).
Part Two
Texture: The Mona Lisa Portrait
The Mona Lisa painting is a peculiar painting work that sets precedence in the world of point especially those that have the backdrop future landscape exquisitely synthesized. As far as the elements of design go, Leonardo in his painting portrait of Mona Lisa has achieved high sense and perfect use of color, shapes, and balance as well as repetition of lines. The real texture of the portrait is rough surface cracked, nonetheless the one simulated with veteran artist Leonardo has a smoothness figure skin and the roughness of the backdrop (Kemp, Martin, and Giuseppe 46).
Space: The Last Supper
Space being an area an author leaves between two objects to achieve a particular purpose. Majority of artist use the element of pictorial space as a window to view realistic subject matter and present symbolic contents. Leonardo da Vinci achieves this in his painting of the last supper by locating the vanishing point directly and behind the head of Christ, which draws viewers' attention to the center (Vezzosi, Alessandro, Asmus, Cotte, and Leonard, 59).
Conclusion
In conclusion, People get to engage or interact with genres of art on a daily basis. Art defines people way of life and influences people's preferences likes and how they look at things.
