Introduction

In every societal setup, every individual needs to have a social goal for social responsibility. These goals should be geared towards assisting the less fortunate in the society. The goals may also be geared towards giving back to the community. The assistance or help may take the form of financial support or volunteering to ensure that every society achieves its objectives. Every person should have some social responsibility in doing various certain things that are essential in the communal practices. Volunteerism is not about offering something for nothing; it is an action that facilitates mutual growth through helping and providing assistance. As an individual that was shaped up by the community from the time I was born till I completed my education, my goal has always been to give back to the community through assisting vulnerable members of the society. The above case is a social goal that has been deeply rooted in my mind from the time I completed my high school education.

The objective of every society is to achieve equality among different members. I have always been looking forward to participating in volunteer organizations with the aim of offering my time to those who need it. Making donations is part of the community service that aims at helping the needy members of the community. Achieving social goals is essential for the growth of the community (Hoffman, Wallach & Sanchez, 2010). Most of the people in the society often look forward to excelling in life and as a result, they need support to enable them to make better choices in their future life. In every social setup, every individual can do something but if there is lack of time, a donation may become appropriate and if there is nothing to donate, volunteering and offering ones time for the services can prove to be helpful. Time and money are all valuable to those individuals who receive the benefits.

The goal of giving back to the community through non-profit organizations, volunteer groups, charity and other means is important in helping the people in need and it also contributes to the common good of the society (Wilson, 2012). When one achieves the goal of giving donations and time, they help many people in the community to also reach their desired goals. Businesses have the reach and resources to provide a major positive influence in the society. They need to volunteer by providing voluntary teaching skills or by supporting charities to enhance education and well-being of the needy people in the society.

Conclusion

The social goal of giving back to the community is among the essential and valuable things a person or an entrepreneur can do. Volunteering or giving charities to the unfortunate people in the society enhances personal growth and it also makes other people happy, a situation that leads to a peaceful coexistence. When taking part in charity and voluntary community service, one is able to help others to achieve a better life and even start their personal projects. Integrating with the community means coming into contact or collaboration with the members who may feel vulnerable (Hoffman, Wallach & Sanchez, 2010). Volunteering to the community enables one to realize a career change or career boost. In most cases, for an individual wishing to achieve their career goals, a community service would be the beneficial and great way to start. Achieving the above goal can enable a person to achieve the definite goals of community service.
