Activity
The whiteboard list of common interests is an interesting team activity that allows stakeholders to list their preferred educational goals for the school. The meeting leader creates columns of interests on a Whiteboard. In this case, the columns will be titled "the column of preferred educational goals". After the meeting leader creates the column, every team member should then put their initials under their preferred educational goal. If the group is small, every member should come to the board. At the board, the team members interact more as they put their initials under their preferred goal. The mingling as everyone puts their initials on the board under their preferred column generates conversation. However, if the team is too large, then the team members should approach the board one-by-one. Afterwards, the team leader forms a circle where each member states their name and the column they signed under. The circle also provides a platform for team members to share personal details and interact with other shareholders. The activity also works for team members who have never interacted before and provides a platform for everyone to share their views and opinions.
