How are you, ladies and gentlemen? My speech today is all about celebration. I will celebrate and appreciate three beautiful things. I will start with photography, then the cartoons and finally the bicycles. I bet that by the time I'm done with my short speech, you will be boarding along with me. I believe that if we celebrate such, we can achieve happiness as human beings in our daily endeavors. By seeding the love for celebrating these three things, we can harvest happiness as Shakespeare puts it.
The first point in this discussion is photography. I celebrate photography. It is the best way to archive our history. Look, imagine how one makes a smile on realizing how much change has occurred in a span of a few years? According to Cathy Ryan, Director of photography, the New York Times Magazine, photographs are the universal language of our era. What happened at a particular event, thank photos capture our best emotions, and each photo has a story. We cherish the moments that we record. We enjoy attaching great detail of I celebrate photography. It is an art that saw me have an idea of how my great grandmother looked like. Photography helps us recall our past so that we can focus on improving the present and making a brighter future. Remember what St. Thomas of Aquinas said that the things we love tell us what we are. I know we love cartoons and love celebrating them, too (Welz et al., 2015).
The next point is about cartoons. I celebrate cartoons! Pictures make us laugh. They're an excellent source of entertainment amongst the kids but also to some of the adults. Mickey Mouse, Tom, and Jerry click to everyone’s mind. Prezi website has reviewers arguing that all we are who we are as a result of the learning that began with cartoons. That is the impact of pictures. You can barely forget them. They stick to our minds since they usually crawl there when we are still young. Yes, comics remind us of our childhood memories. That is why we need to celebrate them! (Jason, 2013).
The last point is what we need to celebrate is bicycles. Yes, I celebrate bikes. They are not only environmentally friendly but also convenient in keeping body fitness. The United Nations, through the wing of the World Health Organization, states that when we use our bicycles, it is a way of achieving more significant health equity. This means that we keep the diseases at bay, save the environment from pollution, and yes, we enjoy keeping fit as we do the bicycle riding! Think of what T.S Eliot suggested, we shall not cease from exploration, and the end of our all exploring Will be to arrive where we started And know the place for the first time. Now, let us all do the exploration using the bicycles to understand where we started from!
Conclusion
As I conclude, I believe we have all seen that we need to celebrate the three things: photography, cartoons, and bicycles. This will enable us to achieve happiness. Photography keeps our memories, cartons are our learning foundations, and bikes help us to stay fit as we conserve the environment. In the words of novelist Charles Dickens, have a heart that never hardens, and a temper that never tires, and a touch that never hurts. That is a call to celebrate. Therefore, my wonderful audience, I believe you will join me in celebrating and sparking action on the three beautiful areas. Let us celebrate!
