Historical Background of the Beatle Rock Band
The Beatle is a popular band formed in Liverpool in 1960. It had four main members namely John Lennon, Ringo Starr, George Harrison and Paul McCartney. These were the main people who involved in the formation of the Beatle band and they were responsible for any action in the band including financing. The group of the people who were in this band used different musical styles such as pop ballads, Indian music, and skiffle beats to entertain the public. When recording the music, they used classical component and unconventional methods when recording their songs in a unique manner (Manning, 2004). They became popular in 1963 when they released a song called Beatlemania. The song was led by their songwriter Lennon and McCartney. The band was meant to only play pop music only in an art form and also was about the creation of countercultures in the 1960s.These group became popular through playing their music in large clubs mainly found in Liverpool for more than three years from 1960 to late 1970s. While they were performing their music, Stuart was playing bass while Lennon and McCartney were acting as the main trio, drummers, and soloist before Pete Best was admitted to join them in 1962. They also had a band manager called Brian Epstein who ensured that they became professional musicians while their producer was George Martin who was responsible for guiding and developing musical records for them. The producer also promoted their band thus making it popular in the entire United Kingdom immediately they produced their first music called "Love Me Do". The band was branded as, "the Fab Four" while the Beatlemania is becoming more popular in Britain and in1964, the band became an international band going in different countries including USA (Provenzi, 2018). At the beginning of 1956, Beatle group started to produce high innovative records of their music and other albums for sale in different places. It managed to produce albums such as Rubber soul in 1965and Revolver in 1966and others later. These people could not team up for many years and therefore they had to separate in 1970because every one of them wanted to be a soloist. In 1980, Lennon was killed while Harrison died of cancer in 2001.To date, McCartney and Starr are still playing pop music in different parts of the World.
Career Highlights
The Beatle started as a small group of musicians and grew significantly over a few years to become an international band. They started as a group of four people in Liverpool and could perform their music in different small clubs before becoming popular. They had no professional songwriters to help them and therefore they could write and produce their own music without the support of a professional (Jones,1991). They worked very hard to become popular by ensuring that they remain united for the rest of their performance. Because they produced and record different songs in albums, they also had to engage in the business of selling and distributing their songs in different countries including USA and Britain. For them to sell their music they had to participate in different cultural activities including a shift from American artists to increase their popularity. These people were not musical professionals but because they had talents they could produce high-quality music. They developed their career from scratch without attending music lessons (Inglis, 2007). The Beatle also became the bestselling group because they could collect annual sales revenue of more than 600million and they could produce the highest number of albums as compared to other bands. The band was ranked first by the Billboard magazine in 2008 and 2016. They produced a large number of albums in Britain alone and sold more in the UK. Notwithstanding they also performed well as the best album seller in the USA and that makes it a very important band of a rock song in the World.
Expression Why the Band Has a Meaning
The Beatle band was of great meaning to me. I loved the way the owners or founders were organized. There was no commotion in the music as everyone was responsible for ensuring that they produced the best pop music of high quality. The group could influence a large group of people with their sweet melodies and harmonies. These could be recognized in the 1970s when all of the founders were active and strong (Greenlaw, 2007). The group could use different styles ranging from glam rock of T, rex to the raw fire of punk. I also loved the person who was playing piano and singers. They were presentable and acted more professional and therefore they appeared the best presenters in the music. The idea that this group was writing their own songs without the assistance of any professional songwriters although they were they to support any musician. They were also able to set the tune of their music themselves. I believe they were talented and knew what they were doing. The kinds of remarks that the soloists used to pronounce are also impressive because they could attract the attention of everyone in the hall.
