Target Corporation

Target Corporation relies on a consistent recruiting message "work somewhere you love". With the message, it creates value and respect for individuals before beginning selection, recruitment, and placement. Conversely, human resource officials prepare all employees so that they can adhere to performance and meet the targets of the corporation. It also ensures that employees adopt the kind of behavior that will necessitate the provision of services to the public in the United Kingdom. Target Corporation relies on a particular culture that helps create a good reputation and a great place of work. In the same approach, it does use the diversity and inclusivity strategy with the aim of creating a more inclusive society and also target careers outside the United States.

Delta Air Lines

Delta Air Lines initially used an external method of recruitment. The company got around 300,000 applications for just 1,000 advertised positions, and this meant that the firm had to reject majority of candidates who applied for their respective posts (Maszczynski, 2019). During the previous year, the number of dissatisfied applicants was mostly felt in the recruitment of cabin crews. Delta Airlines has decided to enhance the recruitment process in several new ways. Delta is trying to implement the use of video interview tools, and make them less complicated (Maszczynski, 2019). The firm has improved on the ability for candidates to re-record their answer, other than the traditional one-shot to record an answer. It will help to remove unnecessary pressure from the candidates.

Delta has also shifted from its previous method 'Applicant Tracking Systems' which slowed the period and effort to finalize the initial application process (Maszczynski, 2019). The airline has updated the initial application process and has made it short, precise, and 'mobile-friendly'. Delta Airlines relies on this particular style of recruiting message- "Delta Air Lines is on a hiring spree- The Airline is sourcing for 1,000 New Flight Attendants" (Maszczynski, 2018). Delta Airlines has opted to be sending feedback messages to unsuccessful candidates so that applicants can use the information to enhance their application better in the future (Maszczynski, 2019). Finally, Delta has implemented free online training tools to assist the candidates close the skill gap and give them necessary knowledge to make their application better.

Apple Inc

Apple Company also relies on its own style of recruiting message "Apple is hiring" (Noe et al., 2017). Its style is creative and unique for the fact that it gives meaning for its best products. However, the style makes it unique for the fact that, despite the logo being simple, the Company gets best employees hence creating a preeminent team. Apple uses the recruiting message because it understands its audience as individuals are always striving to work and meet Company needs and objectives. The message is made simple but it targets creative individuals.

The career sites across the three corporate websites support the trends and strategies presented in the recruiting, selection, and placement processes in the following ways. These three firms are building their employer brand or reputation before advertising for any job vacancies since they know that 75% of job seekers research about the firm's reputation and employer brand before making an application (Martic, 2018). These three corporate websites have a talent pool where they keep all of their top job candidates. This increases their chances of acquiring the right candidates from the pool of talent they had selected.

These firms have also implemented a creative, and automated automation Search Engine Optimization Tools such as Recruitment Marketing Software (Martic, 2018). This helps them to source, attract, engage, and nurture candidates into applicants. These firms have embraced a strategy known as recruitment marketing in their websites to attract more talents. Recruitment marketing tactics are driven by three tactics of awareness, consideration, and interest of candidates that these firms employ while developing their recruiting messages (Richardson, 2009). These websites have a unique way of posting their job vacancies to attract the right pool of candidates.

Conclusion

In conclusion, as an outside consultant brought in to overhaul recruiting of the three organizations, I will recommend that the companies should consider their audience by making the recruiting messages simple and better. Also, they should consider feedback mechanisms at corporate websites. They should also show the audience who the companies are through creative bios so that they can get employees who will stand out. Companies should change their recruiting messages so that they could reach a large audience. For example, Delta Airlines should come up with a creative message that attracts employees from different professions.
