Roles Played by Nurses to Promote Health Status

For example, the physical environment can subject one to health effects if the area is crowded hence adversely affecting the hygiene, thus resulting in health complications of the people living in the environment. In this case, the nurses play a vital role by providing information on the ways in which the crowding affects human health. By virtue of their profession and experience, nurses can avail historical information on how the crowding has affected human health.

Upon providing information on the effects of crowding, the nurses provide a possible remedy to the challenge. In this case, during the law-making process, the nurse indicates sound environmental conditions which ought to be maintained to uphold the health conditions of the society. However, in areas where the social determinant of health has affected society, the nurse provides a possible solution such as appropriate hygiene medication to salvage the condition.
