Faith is essential in helping humankind overcome their toughest times when they feel like everything is gone, and the only thing remaining is to give up. Through faith, every situation is a test that will just pass and return to normalcy. It is a tool that allows humanity to hold on no matter the situation, and without it, life could really be short. Just like we breathe oxygen, an essential thing in our lives, so is faith. Having a belief in overcoming difficulties and return to normalcy makes life look beautiful. In the Bible, Job had faith in God to deliver him from his tribulation, and this came to pass as his wealth was restored back. We tend to drift away from positivity in hard times, and we go to the state of lacking, apart from being in abundance state. Through faith, the abundance in our hearts is replenished, and our spirits raised high. By faith, we seek a solution by focusing on the positivity. In subsequent adversities, we overcome them stronger since our faith is strengthened, and we become stronger just like a job. God blessed him, and he had belief in God entirely that the devil put him into the temptation to make him curse God. Job stood his ground and kept trusting in Him because he believed God gave him wealth, and He can take them again.

Through faith, we discover our ultimate purpose in life and the reason why God gave us life. The ups and downs that characterize our beings make us, at times, question the very reason for our survival and existence on this planet. Despite the tribulations we go through, faith gives us the direction and a helping hand and allows us to realize our ultimate purpose in life. In reality, this does not occur overnight, when faced with a difficult scenario, it becomes harder for us prior to becoming better. Slowly, a part of us gets broken until one beautiful day we dig inside us to find strength in order to make it through the tough times. The strength comes from our faith or something else we believe in, and it makes us see the purpose of life and enjoy every moment with those around us.

In the world we live in, fear, stress, and anxiety are predominant, and without faith, we are doomed. Faith is essential in helping us overcome all these, hoping that the storm will calm and calmness will be restored again. We tend to worry too much about things that we can only leave to God and have faith that we will remain strong no matter what. Stress tends to lead to illness and diseases that can be fatal to humans. Through faith, we avoid such illness as we believe triumph comes at the end. This gives us peace and helps us in living healthy lives in our society. Faith helps us keep bad things at bay even if, at times, we may have doubts about things getting better. In the bible, Abraham was not disturbed by the fact of going to lose his son; he kept focused and did not even feel anxious but instead kept his faith unto the Lord. By harboring faith in our lives, we reduce anxiety, fear, and stress and believe expecting good things to happen (Bass, 2019).

Faith develops our spiritual growth and enables us to stand firm for what we perceive as just and equitable in the society. Through this, we protect and fight for the rights of the oppressed in our surroundings and hold firm into what we strongly believe in, no matter the consequences. In the Bible, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego defied to bow to King Nebuchadnezzar, who was worshipping false gods. They believe only God was Supreme and deserve to be worshipped. This led to them being thrown into the furnace but instead did not burn. Faith and belief in what we genuinely uphold is key to liberating us. Their faith paid off as they did not burn, but instead, Jesus, the fourth person, appeared in their midst and worshipped together in jubilation. Even in our toughest moment, when we remain steadfast in our faith, we get liberated and overcome the challenges. We live a beautiful life when we overcome the difficulties as our faith is strengthened, and our purpose of living is enhanced (Bass, 2019).

In finding a solution in our lives, faith comes handy. Ideally, mankind is meant to survive and thrive despite the numerous challenges. The pathway to our solutions is having the faith of greater things to come in the future in our lives. We succeed because we believe tomorrow there will be light to illuminate our paths. Faith enables us to push in finding solutions for the problems ailing us and making the society we live in a better place. At times, things look like coming to an end and no solution within our reach, but when we go more profound inside us and sort our faith, we live to see tomorrow and become triumph over our adversities (Bass, 2019).
