This source is an online article that describes the history of Africa and the spread of Christianity from North Africa to the rest of the continent. This article is an essential source for my research project because it gives information on the historical background of North Africa and how Christianity spread through the region. This article fits into my research by highlighting the critical steps involved in the spread of the religion. There is no obvious bias in the source. The positive impacts of Christianity to Africa should be in this assignment.
Davis, C. (Director). (2016). The Significance of Africa to Early Christianity [Motion Picture].
This source is a short film that explains the history of early Christianity and the impact that North Africa had on Christianity's line of thought primarily regarding giving rise to North African theologians. This article is therefore helpful because it identifies the implications North Africa had for Christianity. The video does not have an obvious bias which makes it ideal for this research paper. Therefore, the early Christian theologians from North Africa should be in this assignment.

This online source is an article about the conflict that exists between Muslims and Christians in the Central African Republic. Although it does not directly address the impact of North Africa on early Christian thought, I find this article helpful because it speaks about the other dominant religion that exists within the African continent. It fits my research project by highlighting the relationship between Christians and Muslims in Africa. There is the apparent bias against Muslims but what should be in the assignment is the relationship between Christians and Muslims.
Mignolo, W. D. (2009). Epistemic disobedience, independent thought, and decolonial freedom. Theory, Culture & Society, 26(7-8), 159-181.
This article discusses the relationship that existed between colonialism and Christianity. As a result, I find this article helpful because it helps explain the early Christian thought on the issue of colonization. This source, therefore, fits into my research paper by highlighting the early Christian thought regarding politics. The book has no obvious bias which is why the connection between colonization and Christianity should be in the assignment.
Wilken, R. L. (2005). The Spirit of Early Christian Thought: Seeking the Face of God. Yale University Press.
This article discusses the early Christian thought and how it influenced Christianity. This article is helpful for its insights into original Christian thinking and patterns as it evolved into the religion it is. This source, therefore, fits in the early section of my research paper by giving the readers an understanding of initial Christian thought. The books' obvious bias is that it focuses on Christian activities on the European front. As a result, the items to be included in this assignment is the patterns and trends of early Christianity regardless of the region.
