Introduction

The Cinderella fare tale is also referred to as The Little Glass Slipper. It is a folk tale that contains a myth signifying cruel oppression. The main character of the Tale is a young girl who leaves in through unfortunate circumstances that at some point, change and leaves a life full of fortunes. The poor girl ends up to a marry the prince of the kingdom hence changing her life. The reason behind Cinderella's name in the Tale is acquired from the girl's character, who is despised by her family members, leading to her always sitting by the ashes at the corner of the chimney, hence nicknaming her Cindery (Heisig, 2017). The transformation of her life begins after she had wished to be at the royal ball, whereby she ends up going, and the same day she meets the prince. However, the character and the name tend to change depending on the language it is translated to.
