It is hard to convince people to talk about their personal life and get features in the newspapers or on television. It takes me time to convince a person to accept an interview, but it is worth it since I get the world to listen to what people pass through.

3. Is the work demanding?

Yes, it is because I have, to look for captivating stories to report.

4. Are there any low moments you experience during working?

Yes and many of them, especially when I have to interview people and feel pity for them after listening yet I cannot do anything.

5. Who is the most interesting person you had to interview?

A popular and recognized musician it cannot expose their name here because it is confidential.

6. Who would you like to feature their story?

The president

7. Would you consider a change of career?

Never, there are so many stories out there which are waiting to be told. It is my duty to let the world know about different stories since they are not only inspirational but also motivating.

8. What are the hindrances you face in you work?

Language barrier and people not willing to talk openly

9. How do you overcome them?

I have to use an interpreter at times so that the message can be understood.

10. Any advice to aspiring journalists?

Yes, it is not an easy task, lots of dedication and sacrifice is required.

During the interview, I used direct questions since they helped in getting a better understanding of the reasons the journalist decided to choose the career over any other. Direct questions would provide direct answers thus an easier understanding of the professional life of the journalist. Through the transcribed interview I conducted, it helped in gathering first-hand information which means that it was not distorted as it came from the mouth of who experienced it. It provided an opportunity to examine the answers that the journalist provided, but since they were easy to understand, I did not require any further clarifications. I would be able to compare the information to that provided by other journalists I have interviewed and the reasons they are handling different fields in journalism.

However, the interview was time-consuming. I sat with the journalists for two hours, and she gave a long explanation to each question an indication that she was excited about the things she did in her line of career. When conducting the interview, I was able to observe the ethics of interviews by avoiding questions which would make the journalist hold back some information which would be necessary for the interview. Since the information given by the journalist was too much, it took me time to analyze it and determine which was necessary and useful for the interview.
