Introduction

The immigration laws in America are not appropriate because they are inhumane and inefficient since the immigrants face abusive relationships, domestic violence, or other sorts of threats without legal action. Migrants' individuals move from their countries due to various reasons that is violence, war, or economic matters. The immigrants lack equality in the judicial system because they experience false accusations, and others encounter threats in job sectors. The laws associated with immigration does not offer permanent job opportunities to the refugees since the prominent positions are provided to the Americans. Besides, some immigrants are not registered with the government to become permanent residence due to a lack of functioning and an effective immigration system. However, the laws associated with immigration is not fair, as indicated in Gary E. Mead's article.

The laws associated with immigration in the United States are not fair because the immigrants are detained without justice in the jurisdiction. For instance, during the detention of Mr.Warziniack, it was difficult for ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) to acquire valid evidence that proved him guilty. For example, from the article, "Thomas Warziniack was incarcerated at the Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) facility in Buena Vista, Colorado. Mr. Warziniack was serving a sentence for criminal impersonation and possession of a controlled substance" (Mead 2). Being the Russia citizenship, the Colorado officials urged the ICE to extend the imprisonment period claiming his entry in American without permission around the 1960s. Also, the immigrants' workers face harassment in the working environment as well as a false accusation. For instance, from the article, the ACLU (American Liberties Union) filed a claim (lawsuit) that the ICE had detained a young child with six years accusing the immigration judge falsely. Finally, "a notice to surrender for removal was mailed to Mr. Reyes' last known address. Mr. Reyes failed to surrender for removal on May 2, 200l. On March 6, 2007, Mr. Reyes was encountered at his residence during a targeted fugitive operation. A review of known facts revealed that the child was never detained, but he was instead transported to an ICE office until custody arrangements could be made for him" (Mead 2).

Therefore, the law enforced to immigration is not fair because the immigrants face the threats associated with police and court. Various immigrants encounter devastating scenarios like disasters, displacement, poverty, and hunger. From the article, the immigrants' people are detained without valid reason or evidence that supports their allegation. So, the immigration system needs the integrity to ensure effective and fair laws are enforced to the immigrants to offer them equal rights in their new citizenship. Also, the United States government should introduce policies that support immigration reforms across the borders. The ICE should prevent terrorism community safety by boosting the legal immigration process.
